I step out of the barn taking a deep breath of fresh air. Kayden pats my back taking my hand in his.

"Lets do this!" He says. Our wings spill from the skin on our back. His are more white then mine, he told me that all angels have different colored wings. I thought they were all supposed to be white.

Our wings start flapping making the wind around us move. Since I'm an angel I don't need lights to see at night time. I have good vision so I can see at night, I'm stronger and faster, my hearing is better and so is my smell. All my senses are way better now that I'm an angel.

Our feet lift off the ground. I look at Kayden who is watching me with a grin on his face. This is my first time flying outside, I've been in the barn strengthening my wings for this moment.

This is not Kayden's first time, but mirrors my excited image. We dive upward and toward the clouds. He told me that I can't go to high or it will screw with my breathing and I will faint. He told me to stay high enough the people won't see us because they'll tell someone and everyone will think that they're crazy. Poor people.

Stay away from planes because they might see us. And if we are close to the ground fly fast and avoid people and cameras. I had to be told all of this before I could even think about flying outside.

I kept closely behind Kayden as we flew over the large amounts of fields. I have a birds eye view, but my vision is better. We flew over the woods and landed on a cliff that hangs over a small amount of water.

The water looks electric spilling off the cliff and splashing down with the rest. I do not want to go in the water, it'd be very cold. Even know that the weather doesn't bother me anymore, just the thought of it being very cold is enough.

We land on the cliff, my landing isn't very good yet. I stumble just a tad bit before I find my balance. I take in several deep breathes of air trying to get my breathing to a regular as Kayden laughs. He's done this before, he's flown way farther so he's no worn out.

After sitting and staring for awhile wordlessly a nagging feeling starts. It's like when someone knocks on your door and never stops. Just imagine that feeling, but in your head.

I glance over at Kayden who is sleeping or looks like it anyway. I know someone is trying to find their way into my mind. It could be Kemo or it could be someone bad. Last time I talked to Kemo was a week ago. Maybe I should have let him talk. I accused him of trying to lure me home.

My walls shatter like someone dropping glass. It hurts so bad. I let out a yelp as I hold my head trying to get it to stop.

I'm coming to get you. The Fallen are coming for you. Be ready.

The pain stops after I hear Kemo's warning. Kayden has scooped me up in his arms and flying me back.

When we get there Kayden lays me down and covers me with blankets. He gives me a concerned look.

"What happen?" He asks.

"Kemo got through my walls and told me that he's coming to get me. The Fallen are coming to get me." I tell him. He nods his head. "I want you to come with me." He shake his head. "Kayden, I'm not leaving you. You're someone I can trust and who has helped me. Now it's my turn to help you, we can give you protection." I say clutching his hand to me.

"Sophia-" he's interrupted my the doors bursting open.

"Sophia!" Tobias yells running to me. "We need to leave. Kemo and the others are fighting off Fallen." He says scooping me into his arms. I look to Kayden who gives me a small smile as Tobias takes me away.
