"Don't Touch Leo!"

I wake up to a sharp pain in my chest.

Sage stabbed me.

She freaking stabbed me.

I'm gonna stab her back.

I look over to see Tobias with Leo both asleep on a small couch. The girls are at the other side of the room sleeping on another couch. Theo is sitting on the ground with his head on his hands. He is barely awake. Kayden is laying at the end of the bed faced toward me. His face set in a frown even as he sleeps. Amos and Miles are also on the ground on the other side of the couch that the girls are on. I follow my arm to see my hand is taken up by Kemo's. He's watching me with big eyes. His big brown ones never leaving me as I feel tears slide down my face.

He gets out of his chair and hugs me. His eyes are a bit watery, but no tears fall. "I'm sorry, I really am." He whispers. "You died, you died for ten seconds." He says, his features pained. "I felt you dying too, our bond. I could feel you dying. And when you were dead I couldn't feel anything. Those will always be the longest ten seconds of my life." He tells me sadly, he stares at me hand.

Theo stands up when he sees I'm awake. I can tell that Kemo doesn't want to leave my side, but he does. He goes and sits on the floor next to the girls. He puts his head on his folded up knees.

Theo takes my hand and kisses it. "I'm so sorry, I don't know she was going to stab you." He says looking up to my chest. Everyone slowly wakes up and they all get anxious to talk to me. Kemo gets them all into the hallway, except for Kayden who is still sleeping at the end of my bed. "How are feeling?" He asks.

"Like I got stabbed," I smile, but he doesn't. "Lighten up, I'm still alive." I laugh and he shakes his head.

"You were gone for ten seconds. Terrible ten seconds. Kemo was freaking out, I thought he was going to kill Sage. He went crazy, Tobias and Amos held him down." He lets out a shaky breath. "I felt bad for Kemo and I don't even like him. Sage is being contained. I don't know what's going to happen to her. I hope they don't let Kemo kill her, no offense, but she is my sister." I nod my head in agreement. "I'll let you have time with everyone else too. And what about him?" He asks motioning to the body at the end of my bed.

"He doesn't wake up for anything unless someone is in danger." I smile. Theo places a kiss on my hand before exiting the room. Amos pops his head in, this is the worst I've ever seen him. His eyes have huge bags underneath them and he looks unhappy. He sits down and takes my hand.

"Hey," he smiles.

"Hey." I say back with my own smile.

"I don't really know what to say other than I'm happy that you are alive. And that you are like the best thing in my life and I love you." He says placing his head on my hand. He doesn't mean he loves me like we are in a relationship, he means like friends for family.

"I don't know what to say either. I never thought that I'd be stabbed." I laugh. "Anyway, you need to get some sleep huh. You look not as beautiful as usual." I say. He grins at me.

"You're my favourite," he smiles placing a kiss on my forehead before leaving. Miles pops his head in.

"Hey!" He says smiling. He hugs me lightly trying to avoid my wound. "How are you?" He asks.

"Fabulous," I grin. He rolls his eyes and plays with my hand.

"I'm glad you're ok," he admits. "Tobias is dying to see you. He says that his baby needs to see his mother." He laughs and I roll my eyes. "Tobias is such a jerk unless he's with his 'baby'." He says making quotations fingers. "Leo is like the best thing that's ever happened to him." He grins. He kisses my forehead before leaving the room.
