Drown in the Warmth (Nouis)

The Nouis and Niam prompts were tied but I chose the Nouis one because I'm pretty sure you guys don't want two sad stories in a row.

Prompt:

Niall and Louis just love taking baths together. And after a long day of singing and interviews, they finally get to spend some Nouis time.

"good lord that was horrible!" Louis groaned as he plopped himself on the plush beige couch of his and his two year boyfriend Niall's apartment.

Niall chuckled and sat down beside him, snuggling into Louis' side and closing his eyes, the long day of interviews-the last one being a snooty young woman who cared only for Zayn and Harry-tuckered him out, and all he felt like doing was sleeping. "how about we go to bed babe?" Louis asked, more like urged as he got up, taking Niall's hand and leading him to their bedroom.

They immediately discarded their close, Louis not even bothering to smack Niall's ass, Niall not bothering to smack Louis' back cheekily. They just flopping onto the bed, tucked themselves under the covers and cuddled up against each other, Niall's head rested on Louis' shoulder as Louis laid on his back staring at the ceiling.

Niall groaned and shifted a lot, knitting his brows together and shifting his head off and on Louis' shoulder. Louis was more concerned then sleepy at that moment. "You okay love?" He asked, bringing his hand up to comb through Niall's blonde, tangled locks. Niall just moaned and turned over so his back faced Louis, curling up in a ball and burying his head into his arms. "M'just stiff and stressed." Niall mumbled, voice a slur and muffled by his arms and the covers.

Louis sighed and shifted so his chin rested against Niall's shoulder, running his hand along Niall's spine, massaging the muscles. In response to that, Niall let out groans of pleasure, facial expression now relaxed and calm. But to Niall's disagreement, Louis pulled away completely, shuffling out of bed and shouting a quick "be right back!" Before disappearing into the bathroom.

Niall liked the silence that had now surrounded the room, the only sound was the alarm clock ticking throughout the room. The curtains closed, no light seeping into the room, lights off. Everything was calm, but Niall still wasn't comfortable, that minor massage that he got was like he was just in heaven for a few seconds. But when Louis left, he felt more like he was drop kicked back to earth. "Babe?" Niall called, eyes still closed and brows still furrowed. He didn't hear a response, but the sound of bare feet against the wooden flooring echoing through the hallway and then into the bedroom.
"Love?" He hears a very soft voice say and he opens only one eye, seeing Louis standing across from him beside his bed, smiling lovingly down at him. "Come on, let me get you more comfortable." He said, taking his hands and moving them under the blanket. Niall let out a little yelp, feeling Louis' arms cup around his body and hoist him up. His eyes shot open, looking up at Louis, grumbling for him to put him down before he hurt himself. Because, well, Louis wasn't the strongest man on earth as well as the most built, but man, when he wanted to show his manliness, he definitely made Niall surprised and flattered every time.

Soon, Louis' bare feet against the wooden floors became to change against tile, the "drip, drop" of water slipping into water echoed through the bathroom. They had a window in the bathroom, but Louis had installed blinds, which was now closed. The room was still light, but not light enough for Niall to have to squint and cringe.

Louis set Niall onto the floor on his feet, giving him a smirk before taking off his shirt and throwing it to the floor and then taking off his pajama pants and throwing them with the matching shirt. Louis was now naked in front of him-god bless that boy who never wore boxers to bed. "Your turn, the faster you do it, the faster you'll be in pure bliss." Louis said, making a dramatic hand gesture with his hands.

Niall smirked and took off his pajamas, now also stark naked in front of his lover. Louis didn't hesitate and grabbed his hand, tugging him towards the tub that was filled with water, two candles were set on the edges. Niall gaped at the romantic sight, seeing how calm and soothing the scenery looked made his muscle's twitch with want. He saw Louis get in, the sound of the water sloshing around in the tub broke the silence only for a few seconds as he got comfortable. "Your turn love." Louis said, holding his hands out for Niall to grab.
He blushed and grabbed Louis' hands, balancing himself as he stepping one foot into the tub. Louis helped him through the rest and soon enough he was rested against Louis' chest, his head laying against his shoulder, Louis' arms wrapped around his middle.
Niall couldn't help but let out a moan of relief, the feeling of the warm water soothing his muscles and snuggling into his body felt-truly what Louis said-like pure bliss.

To add onto the amazing feeling, Louis started to massage his shoulders, kissing his neck softly, repeating his line of pecking down his neck and onto his shoulder, then all the way back up again. "Mmmm, best part of the day." Niall mumbled, eyes shutting and body going limp against his boyfriends touch. Louis let out a breathy chuckle, kissing the back of Niall's neck. "I wish this could be a routine, coming home every night, getting undressed and just filling up the tub with warm water, drowning ourselves in romance and massages." Louis whispered into Niall's ear.
But they couldn't, and they both knew that. They were in a famous boy band don't forget-like you ever will-and they were traveling everywhere, being in four countries and it had only been a week. Their tour started tomorrow, having just a small break to go see their families, and that's exactly what they did, only to have their last day-which was scheduled for only Nouis time-became bombarded by interviews and meeting fans.
Niall sighed and shook his head, looking at his boyfriend with sad and determined eyes. "I really wish we could Lou, but-" Niall didn't finish, Louis just shushing him and pulling him closer. "Soon the water will get cold and we'll start to regret coming in here, let's just make the most of it while we can, no stressing, no thinking, just Niall and Louis, Louis and Niall." He said, kissing Niall's ear and closing his own eyes, resting his head against the tile.

Soon the water did get cold, the uncomfortable feeling made them start to shift against each other. "Let's get out shall we? It's time for bed anyways." Louis said, slowly pushing Niall off his chest so he could stand up and help the little blonde up.

Niall grabbed two towels, wrapping one around Louis' waist and one around his, both already starting to shiver. They walked out, got their pajama's back on and flopped back onto their bed, scrambling under the covers and cuddling into each other's warmth.

"That was the best I've felt in a while." Niall mumbled against Louis, snuggling impossibly closer. Louis smirked and kissed his forehead, snuggling his nose into Niall's wet blonde locks. "And we can do it again, we just have to wait for the right time. But don't worry, romance doesn't have to be a tub and candles." Louis said and Niall chuckled, looking up at him with raised brows. "Are you saying you've got more cheesy things up your sleeve mister Tomlinson?" Niall asked cheekily making Louis blush. "Of course, anything for you, mister Horan." Louis said with a swooning voice, giving Niall a wink before settling back down against the mattress.
"Your cheesy but I love you." Niall said, his voice becoming weak and groggy as the sleep took over him. "And I love you too." Louis said, smiling as he drifted off to probably the most relaxing sleep he's ever had.
