Chapter One: Olivia Jo Payne

Veronica's POV

It's been really busy over the last month since Olivia was born. We were supposed to fly out to see my parents last week, but I had several appointments for Olivia.
"Hey Vee, your dad called. He said to give him a call, and that it was important." Liam said handing me my phone.
"Ok. Did he say why it was important?" I asked.
"He said that it was something to do with your grandma." He explained.
"Ok thanks. Oh Liam, can you go put Liv in her cot for me please?" I asked.
"Yeah sure. Oh and do you want to go visit your family this weekend?" He asks.
"Yeah. I was got to ask you about that." I said as I dialed up his number.
"Hey Veronica, I'm glad you called. It's about your grandma. She isn't doing so well. The ALS is making her weaker then what she was. I think it would be best if you three came and visit her in case anything happened." He explained.
"Ok, I'll go tell Liam about everything that's going on. When would you guys want us to come?" I asked.
"Whenever you guys can. But I think it would be better to come now rather then later if something happens." He said.
"Is grandma there? If she is can I talk to her?" I ask.
"Yeah she's right here next to me. I'm gonna FaceTime you so she can see you. I'm gonna hang up real quick and call you back is that OK?" He asks.
"Yeah that's fine. I'm gonna go find Liam and Liv so they can see her too." I said before dad hung up.
  "Hey Liam, we need to go to Jersey now. It's my grandma. She isn't doing so good, my dad's getting worried about her." I explained once I got upstairs.
  "What do you mean? I thought she was doing better." Liam said trying to change Liv.
  "I thought so too. She has her days where she's doing absolutely amazing, then there are days where she's so weak that she can't get out of bed." I said sitting down.
  "Wanna catch the next flight to Jersey? That way she can meet Olivia, in case something happens?" Liam asks.
  "Yeah I think that's a good idea. I'll go book us a flight. Wanna pack our things and I'll pack Liv's stuff after I finished booking our flight?" I asked.
  "Yeah sure. Do you know how long we're gonna stay there babe?" He asked grabbing the suitcase.
  "I'm not too sure. I kind of want to stay for a few weeks, but work is more important too. I guess it's better if we plan it day by day. We have some clothes there at my parents place if we decided to stay longer. It's just Olivia I'm worried about. They don't have any clothes for her." I explain putting her in her cot.
  "I know, I know. Day by day is better. Especially if we don't know everything that's going on. What else did your dad say about your grandma?" He asked grabbing a few clothes.
  "He said that he'd call. I'll text him now while I book the flights." I said as I got on Liam's laptop to book a flight.

    To Dad

  Hey dad, you can call if you want. I'm booking the flight to Jersey now. Does grandma want to see Olivia?

    From Dad

  Yeah I'll call now. I think it would be a good idea for her to see Olivia.

  After texting dad, he FaceTimed me so that way him and Grandma could see Olivia and talk to Liam and I before we flew out.
  "Hey Dad, hey Grandma. How are you?" I asked.
  "We're doing pretty good. How's Olivia and Liam doing?" Dad asked.
  "They're doing good. Olivia's been making noises every time she hears Liam singing on the radio, or on the telly." I laughed.

  "Can I see little Olivia?" Grandma asks.
  "Yeah. Hey Liam, wanna introduce my dad and grandma to Olivia?" I asked looking up at him.
  "Yeah. Hey Buddy, hey mamma Mary." Liam said smiling when handing him the phone.

Liam's POV

  "Hey Liam, how's everything going?" Buddy asks.
  "I'm doing really good. Been busy working with Bedroom Floor and helping out with Olivia. You guys wanna see her? She's sleeping, but I doubt it'll be for long." I explained.
  "I think Mamma would love that. What do you think mamma? Wanna see Olivia?" He asks looking at Mary.
  "I wanna hold her more then anything, but I'll settle for meeting her." She said looking at Buddy smiling.
  "Here's little Ms. Olivia Jo Payne." I said as I changed the camera around.
