Chapter Five Shopping and Carlo's Bakery

Liam's POV

"Hey Liam, I'm gonna head to the store really quick. Do you two wanna come?" Ralph asks walking into the kitchen.
"Yeah sure. There are a few things I wanna get from there." I said as I stand up. 
"I think I'm gonna stay here. Haven't been feeling good the last couple hours." Paddy explained grabbing a water.
"Ok, is there anything you want me to pick up for you?" I asked.
"Just a few. I'll text it to you." He said before going back to his room.
"Let's get going. We can go to the smaller store since Paddy's gonna stay here. Plus it's by the bakery so if fans start spotting you and we need out we can just call Buddy and Veronica." Ralph says as we head out to the car.

At the Store

Once Ralph and I got to the store, it wasn't as small as he said it was. It looked like it was the size of some of the shops in London.
  "Hey you ok? You look a little shocked." Ralph says looking at me.
  "Not really, the store looks like it's the size of some of the shops in London. And I thought that the store would be a little smaller then that." I explained.
  "I probably should have talked about it a little more." He laughed.
  When we got inside, I put my beanie and hood on so I wouldn't be recognized right away. I followed Ralph to some of the things I needed, and went to look for a few other things to keep Veronica, Olivia and I occupied at Ralph's until we were able to go stay at Buddy's again.
  After I grabbed a book for Veronica, a game for my Nintendo, and a puppet for Liv, I made my way to go find Ralph. As I was looking for him, I noticed a few looks from some of the workers, but I didn't make a big deal out of it. Until one of them approached me.
  "Excuse me sir, you can't wear your hood inside the store." A woman said from behind me.
  I turned around and looked at her and I guess she recognized me right away.
  "Sorry about that. I'll leave the hood off." I said before walking away quickly to go find Ralph.
  "Hey what's up with you?" Ralph asks looking at me.
  "One of the workers walked up to me and said that I couldn't wear my hood in here, and after I turned around and took it off, and she recognized me." I explained.
  "Ok, I just have to grab cereal from the next aisle and we'll leave." He said.
  After he grabbed the cereal he wanted, we quickly went to the front to paid for our things and leave.
"That was an interesting experience without Paddy. At least it was for me anyway, you never had a bodyguard did you?" I ask once we get in the car.
"No I haven't. Why, does Paddy go with you and Veronica everywhere so nobody doesn't get any pictures of Olivia?" He asks.
"Yes and no. We have him come with us to some places, but not everywhere. Veronica usually just goes to the store by herself, or we just have Veronica's brother Niall watch Olivia while regular both of us can go shopping or do something else for a couple other things." I explained.
"Oh ok." He said as we took off.

At Ralph's place

"Paddy we're back." I yelled once Ralph and I went inside.
A few minutes later, Paddy came downstairs and helped take care of the food that I got for him.
"Fans didn't see you did they Liam?" Paddy asks.
"No I don't think so. One of the workers must have recognized me. Because when I was wearing my hoodie over my hat, she came up and told me that I can't wear it in after I took it off she looked like she recognized me right away." I explained.
"Well as long as she didn't tell anybody then I think you would be good." He says before he went back upstairs.
"I'm gonna head over to the bakery to grab something. I'll be back in about an hour." Ralph said before he left.
  That left me alone in the living-room, so I decided to go into the kitchen and do a twitcam for a few minutes.

Veronica's POV

  "Hey baby, I missed you!" Mum said as she rushed over to me.
"I just seen you yesterday mum." I said laughing as I hugged her back.
"I know, but I didn't get to hold my granddaughter, and I didn't get to be able to try and see if we can hangout if you don't come home." She said as she took Olivia out of the car seat.
"I was hoping that we could come back in the next few days if Aunt Mary won't say anything to Liam. Besides, I already have a feeling Sofia, Buddy, Marco and Carlo want to see their niece." I explained.
"They do. Carlo's teacher called me this morning telling me that he wouldn't stop talking about meeting her." She said laughing as she held Liv.
"It's my favorite little niece! How are you?" I hear Aunt Lisa ask walking over to me.
"Tired. I'm starting to get use to being up with Liv here in America." I explain.
"Where is she? Can I hold her?" Aunt Madeline asks.
"Mums holding her. You guys are gonna have to fight over her while I talk to dad." I said laughing as I watch Aunt Lisa, Aunt Madeline and Aunt Grace rush over to mum.
"Wanna go to the room with the see through window so you can keep an eye on Liv?" Dad asks.
"When did you instal a see through window?" I asked.
"I actually had it done a while back. Nobody other then you and your Uncles know about it. I keep it so I can see what's going on when I try and do my own thing with your Uncles on a cake." He explained.
When we got inside the room, we started talking about my Aunt Mary and how we could be able to be there without her saying anything to Liam.
  "I love her and all, I just can't have her saying anything to Liam about everything that happened with Cheryl. He's not even sure her son is his yet. Everyone else has stayed out of our business, or they forgave him. I just don't see why Aunt Mary is like this. I just feel like she's  trying to make it so we aren't together anymore." I explained.
  "I don't think she wants you and Liam to split up. My guess would be that she just wants you to be safe." Dad said.
  "Dad, Aunt Mary doesn't like him because she thinks he's gonna cheat on me. If Cheryl's son turns up to be Liam's child, I won't care. I'll still love him no matter what." I explain.
  After talking about it to my dad a little more, Uncle Mauro came in telling my dad that Aunt Mary was looking for him. And that she heard all the noise and wanted to see Olivia.
  "Oh hell no! She is not holding my child until she actually acts civil with Liam!" I said as I stormed out of the room.
  When I got out to the kitchen where everyone was, I saw Aunt Mary arguing with my mum who handed Olivia to my Aunt Grace.

  "What the hell is going on out here?" Dad asked storming up behind me.
  "I came out here to see what all the noise was about and why there weren't that many people working. Then I seen a baby car seat and everyone was either talking about or holding a baby and I overheard Joey talking to Ralph about taking Veronica and Olivia home after she was done talking to you in your office." She explained.
  "Why are you even near my daughter? I told you I didn't want you near her!" I said gritting my teeth.
  "Because I actually want to see my niece. I've actually tried contacting you and Liam and the two of you won't call or text me back. You need to understand something Veronica. I've wanted to apologize to you, but you two won't give me the time of day to even do that. Im sorry about everything Vee." She says.
  "Do you think there's a reason why I don't say anything to anyone about talking to you or anyone but my parents about it? That's not the reason why. It's because it's nobody's business but mine, Liam's, his management and our parents. I'm not the one you need to apologize to. It's Liam!" I yelled.
  "I don't need to apologize to him! He's the one who went out, got drunk and cheated on you with someone and got her pregnant. What makes you think he won't go out with those band members friends of his and cheat on you again?" She asks.
  "One of those band members just happens to be my brother and is protective of me and wouldn't let that happen! And who cares? We all make mistakes. I've gotten drunk and done stuff I'm not proud of. We all do something we're not proud of Aunt Mary. You've done things that your not proud of before that I haven't told anyone." I said before I grab Liv's car seat.
  "Mary, what are you doing?" I hear Aunt Grace ask.
  I turned around and seen that she had Olivia and started talking pictures of her. Mum seen the look of horror on my face and snatched the phone out of her hand while dad went to take Olivia.
  "Lisa what are you doing? Give me back my phone!" She yells.
  "Those pictures are to NOT go on any social media! Unlike everyone else in the family, or other celebrities in the world, Liam and I are trying to keep her from the public eye." I said as dad put Liv in her seat.
  "Who says I was even gonna put them on anything?" She asks.
  "Mary, just leave her alone and let her leave." Mum says.
  "Hey Vee, you still want to come stay at our place?" Dad asks whispering to me.
  "You already know the answer to that dad." I whispered back.
  "I'll pick you up tomorrow. Then that way we can go have Mother's Day." He said as Ralph helped put Liv in the car.

Liam's POV

  "Well I'll see you guys later, bye." I said before logging off my live feed.
  "Liam, we're back!" Veronica yelled as I hear the front door close.
"I'm in the kitchen love." I called as I turned off my phone.
"What were you up to today?" She asks getting Liv out.
"I was just doing a livestream. Some of the fans were actually asking about you and why you weren't here. I told them that you and Liv were with your dad." I explained.
"Speaking of my dad. The conversation with him went pretty well, but Aunt Mary and I got into an argument. I kinda started it though." She said.
"How do you think you started it love?" I asked taking Olivia.
"Veronica thinks she started it because she stormed out of the back somewhere when she seen Mary holding Olivia and got upset. When she seen Mary taking pictures of Liv, Veronica was flipping out because she thought Mary was gonna post them and you guys wouldn't be able to keep Olivia out of the spot light." Ralph explained.
"Love, she wouldn't have posted the pictures online. Your dad already told her before that we wanted to keep her out of the spotlight for as long as possible." I explained.
  "I know, but this is my aunt we're talking about. She's already told us both how much she doesn't take a good liking towards you." She says handing me Liv's formula.
  "I know, but how stupid can she be? She knows we're trying to keep her out of the spotlight. So I doubt she'll post those pictures online." I explained.
  "You never know. She has her moments." She said laughing.
  "Guys, you might want to check this out!" Ralph called from the living room.
  Once Veronica and I got to the living room, we seen a picture of Olivia on the screen. I looked over at Veronica and she stormed upstairs.
  "I'm gonna go talk to her. Um, can I take Liv so Veronica doesn't take my head off and scream?" Ralph asks.
"Yeah, here you go. Can I borrow your car so I can go talk to Buddy and get this sorted out?" I asked.
  "Go right ahead. The keys are out on the table in the kitchen." He said before going upstairs with Liv in hand.
  After I grab the keys, I rushed over to Carlo's Bakery. Buddy must have know either Veronica or I were coming because him, Mauro and Lisa were outside blocking the doorway.
This was gonna be interesting.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy with finishing up my third semester at the college I go to, and trying to keep up with some other things.
