"No, no, you weren't even there at the time. I'm so glad you saved me. Thank you." I told Luke.
"I was there." Luke seemed to have trouble saying the words. Almost as if the words were fire coming from his throat, his voice had become  hoarse. "That rustling you might have heard in the bushes when you were walking, that was me.  I was lazily walking my dachshund hound, and she was rustling in the large bushes.  She saw something, and chased it.  I followed after her but she was so far into the bushes that I had to crawl under one of them to get to her." He explained," Once I had gotten myself untangled from the bush....I saw you, and just as I was about to greet you, my dog started coughing violently.  She was in the bushes again, so I went to get her back out to make sure that she was okay.  After I helped her to stop coughing, I saw a man carrying you away.  I ran as quickly as I could to save you. Before I could reach you, you were thrown into a van and driven away.  I wrote down the license plate and once I got home I logged into my dad's computer, since he's a police officer I was able to track it down.  Now that I'm here with you, I'm so, so sorry I couldn't save you,"Luke said as he wrestled with his emotions, a single silver water droplet slowly sliding down his cheek.
"Oh Luke, but you tried, and I'm fine now. You are truly, truly, the best boyfriend I could ever have," I told him.
"You're the best girlfriend I could ever have.  Now let's get out of this place!"
Suddenly, we heard a very evil laugh.  Luke and I turned around. We saw that Don was standing, holding Luke's knife.
"Now, I can kill you, Julia.  You and your little boyfriend will not see daylight. Your little fairy tale ends here!" Don exclaimed while laughing.  I walked up toward Don, I stood just about ten feet away from him. I was blocking him from Luke to make sure that he would not be able to get to him easily.  Luke loudly cried for me to come back, but I thought that I was ready for anything now.  I was not quite ready for Don to throw the knife so quickly, though.  It pierced through the thin air, and my eyes were focusing on the sharp blade as it got closer.  I closed my eyes as my feet turned into ice, I couldn't move.  I quickly put my hands out in front of me to try to block the deadly object, but I was suddenly pushed off of my feet as I heard a loud, terrible wail and a horribly wicked laugh.
