Chapter 2

Gao's POV

"We.......made....it......come.......on.......guys........."

No answer.

"Guys?"

I came face to face with an unfamiliar class. 

Having their lessons. 

In an unfamiliar classroom. 

With an unfamiliar teacher.

We just stared at each other blankly for a few seconds before realisation hit me.

"I'M AT THE WRONG CLASS!!!!!"

I sped out of the classroom, my face burning. Oh my god......

I had went not one, but two levels higher than I was supposed to. I was in such a rush I didn't notice!!!😨

That was sooooo embarrassing.

I finally reached the right classroom. My friends were already inside and had already started class. Nobody noticed me, except Chihiro. Her eyes widened and she tried to mouth something to me. 

I motioned for her to keep quiet.

I tried creeping into the classroom to my seat, which was just a distance from the door.

Big mistake.

I was going to do it. 

That was when it happened. 

My foot caught hold of another person's chair and while I was inching forward, crawling, tripped me. Well that was not exactly trip but anyway, I got a huge shock aaand because of that, leapt up, hit the back of the chair, got knocked down and landed smack on the floor. 

On my face.

"YEEEOOOOOOOW!!!"

The class and my teacher noticed me. 

Oops. So much for staying quiet.

"Oh there you are, Gao!" The teacher flashed me a smile. "Since you're already here, why don't you try this question? Answer, please!" He winked.

Uh oh.......

I glanced at the question on the board. 

Cube root of 999 added to the product of 200 and 89???!!!! That's madness!!!

"Um......er.......sorry.....I HAVE NO IDEA!!! "

The class burst into peals of laughter. My face was scorching.

"So now you see what you miss out when you're late for class. Sit down, Mr Mikado."

As I stumbled to my seat, I could still hear Baku and Noboru sniggering.

"Sorry."Chihiro apologised. "We were in such a rush we didn't notice you weren't with us until we reached. And it was just in time too."

"S'okay. It's not your fault. I was in a rush too. And I was first! "

She smiled and laughed.

Chihiro's POV

So he was late.........maybe because the rest and I didn't take note, how silly..........but thanks to my powers(they sometimes help me unexpectedly)and my sincere apology, I was let off. Hope same goes for the rest.......

I just received a signal. 

A warning. 

Danger is coming. 

But so is help. I programmed it in such a way that once that disgusting thing wakes up, those needed to help will come. I'm certain.

By the way, I have to work with Ku too.......I won't want her to bite my head.....😅
