Valerie's P.O.V.

"It's Cole, he's in the hospital." Alexandra said in a panicked voice.

"What the hell happened!" I yell in the phone.

"I went in to lock up the store and left Ashley alone with the kids. I forgot my phone, so I decided to go back upstairs and when I came down Cole was..." she finished with sobs.

More tears fell from my eyes.

"What hospital." I said with cracks in my voice.

"Valley Children's Hospital." I heard over her sobbing and guessed that it was one of the doctors.

I quickly hung up.

"Drive to Valley Children's Hospital now." I command Anthony.

"What? Wh-"

"NOW ANTHONY" I yell at him banging my fist on the armrest.

Anthony drove off and didn't ask any questions.

Once we got to the hospital I rushed in.

I requested the head doctor.

"Ms.Castillo, what brings you here?" she asks.

"My son he was brought here by Alexandra where is he?" I ask rushing my words.

"He's in critical condition, I have a good doctor working on him." she responded.

"Amy I own this hospital, whenever a family member is involved I want you working on them. 'Good isn't enough. Got it?" I said stepping closer to her.

"I'm sorry this won't happen again." Amy said before rushing off to Cole's room.

Anthony and I trailed behind.

"Hey! What do you mean you own the hospital." Anthony whisper yelled, not wanting to attract attention.

"My parents own hospitals around the country. Since they passed, Alexandra and I are in charge." I explain not even looking his way.

We got to his room and Amy rushed in to relieve the doctor.

When I was about to go in Anthony grabbed my hand and pulled me back.

He pointed to the board outside of the door.

It had 'Cole Martinez' written on it in big black letters.

"He's a Martinez?!" Anthony yelled completely giving up on the whispering part.

"Yes." I said through my gritted teeth.
