Jessica POV
i opened my eyes to nothing but red & blue light. hearing nothing but sirens & chatter all around. i try to turn my head but i couldn't. its like i couldn't move at all.... The last thing i could remember was leaving from august and us having a mini argument. i get put in the back of an ambulance and see brandon hover over me.
Brandon: its okay baby, im here.
i just nod my head afraid of what's going to happen next.

August POV
Jessica doesn't understand & i dont think she will until she leaves brandon. i dont have anything against the dude buh i know i can provide more to her than he can. But that wont be known until the future. Now i just gotta find some ways to let her know im serious and ready to be a step header than he ever was. Now im otw to the crib and my phone starts ringing from chris blowing my phone up. I answer that jawnt like he's crazy.
August: Nigga what shit *chuckles*
Chris: AYE AUGUST JESSICA JUST GOT IN A BAD ACCIDENT GET OVER HERE NOW
August:.....
Chris: YO!!!??
August: i-i-im otw...
And at that moment i knew i fucked up... heart starts racing. head starts spinning. body start sweating. i make a uturn and head straight to the hospital speeding. going 95 swerving lane to lane. got a million thoughts going through my mind. thinking about if shes okay what happened who did it why could i have been so dumb. I finally get there and without even going to the desk i run to the elevator but i see chris so i ask him where she is.
He looks at me and points his head in the direction her room was. i went in there and there she was...in a hospital bed. with tubes hooked up to her looking uncomfortable i put my head down then shook it. thinking to myself. none of this would of went down if i never told her to leave. if we never got in that stupid ass argument. i stand next to her bed and grab her hand she looks at me and smiles. i kiss her forehead then sit down and start apologizing. she shook her head and told me to stop apologizing because it wasnt my fault. it was whoever ran into her. i just kept my head down

Brandon POV
Im at the hospital in the lobby talking to Chris and everyone else that came for Jessica. He starts telling me a crazy story about how one of his exes got sent to the hospital from driving recklessly. i just shake my head during the whole story not really in the mood to laugh nor talk. Im just thinking about how we got here. Where was Jessica coming from and why was she the one to be in that bed. So many questions rushing through my head rn 🤦🏽♂️
