A sweet melody in the heart of the storm
Darkest of days to ever be born
Feel the cold little drops fall from above
The world will come together and fit like a glove
Drip, Drip, Drip from the sky
Watching them fall as the days go by
Grey in the sky, the cold seeping through
The gloom of it all is getting to you
Feel the rain, Hear the rain, Be the rain
So small in it air, like watery grain
Maybe, like you, they are sad
Whenever they come the world goes bad
Cars slip and slide when they land on the ground
Games are cancelled from running around
People feel depressed just by the sight
They come to this world, and may never feel right
See, you might be the rain
As the jump to their death and finally feel sane
Have you ever envied their freedom from life
Climbing above to unimaginable heights
Your sadness is gone, but the gloom sticks around
Never quit leaves, hangs out when there is no sound
Gives you the feeling of despair
Like the rain in the air
