On the plane ride back to Gotham City, Shivani spent it alone in one of the many rooms the large flying vehicle holds, lounging on a plush leather couch staring out of the window. Just wanting to be alone for a moment in her own thoughts. There were three things that seemed to continually circle around in her mind.
One, she needed to find out if Harley was truly okay—not that she didn't take Bruce's word for it. Two, find a way to get in contact and try and convince Arthur to at least rethink about join the team. And the third, was....
Rott.
Her hand drifted up to the area were the dog's inked face was gone from her skin. Rott has been gone far too long now. She had to find out what the hell was going on. So lost in her own thoughts the young woman didn't notice Alfred walking into the room with Bruce trailing fast behind him. The old man speaking words that didn't come to her distanced mind.
"What?" Shivani snapped back into reality, turning from looking out the window and up at the butler. Bruce was quick to jump in and say something before he could though.
"Nothing, it's nothing—"
"—Sorry to disturb your time of peace, Miss Shivani."
"Alfred." Bruce sighed sounding annoyed. He was sent a teasing grin from the gray haired man.
"What?" She looked between the two of them suspiciously.
"Master Wayne believes that during your recent recruitment that Mr. Curry was ogling you. And—"
"—Alfred—"
"—He disliked it very much."
"What?" Shivani kept herself from giggling. The billionaire rolled his eyes. Cheeks tinting a hint of pink much to Alfred's amusement and went completely unnoticed by her.
"I did not say that." Bruce says.
"Then what did you say?"
"Does it matter?"
"To me, yes it does." Alfred tells him. Bruce gave him a glare that the butler was unfazed by. The tattooed beauty shook her head at the two of them.
"Alfred can you give us a moment alone?" Shivani asked.
