"Er Taru, I think your drooling," said Mako nudging me with his elbow.

"What!" I yelled.

"Shhhh, she'll notice you," said Mako joking around.

"But seriously how do I get her to notice me?" I asked.

"The trick is to show off your skills,"

"But why not before?"

"Well because your the new Avatar," dad said slowly. I was speechless.

"It was to keep you safe," Mum said. I walked out of the room and back to the party.

"Guys... I'm the new Avatar!" I yelled. Everyone went quiet.

"How come you never told us," asked Mako.

"Because I only found out just then," I replied.

"Does this mean you will be leaving?" Asked Asami. My whole body went stiff and I started to stutter.

"Er I'm not sure yet but I'll let you you know when I know," I said going red in the face...
