"Whose going to teach me water bending?" I asked Mako.

"Well you could go to the best in the village, my father,"

"I mean, that's why I'm so good," he said.

"Then why don't you teach me the basics," I said.

"Ok we'll start with the movements, you need to feel the energy flowing through your body. Now copy me," he said. He was leaning side to side and moving his ands like waves and the snow on the ground formed into water and followed his hands. I followed his moves but only little droplets of water formed.

"Maybe you need more practice," said Mako.

"Yeah we should she your dad," I said.

"Hey Dad you wouldn't mind teaching the Avatar Water Bending?" Asked Mako.

"It would be my pleasure, Avatar Taru," he said bowing.

"So when do we start?" I asked.

"Now if you like," he said.

"Now concentrate on the waves flowing back and fourth and follow my lead," he said doing the same movements as Mako. But this time a large stream of water circled around him. I tried again closing me eyes and really concentrating on the flow of the waves and a tiny stream of water circled around me.

"I'm doing it," I said excitedly.

"Your quite good for a beginner," said Mako's Dad. As I did it for longer the stream got larger and it went faster. Bolin (Mako's father) taught me how to fire icicle shards out of the stream.

"Thanks for the lesson," I said and walked out of the front door...
