Alyah Zynneth Cortez (POV)

I woke up and opened my eyes. The Philippines' sun shine was totally wonderful. The windows at my hotel can give a totally awesome view. It's very different from the sunshine in States. I missed it here. Well, it's my home country. I'm back, yes, I'm home again.

Since the plane landed in manila, I can't help but think of the possible things that Kim might do to me. She was and will always be a total life wrecker. She spent a year in jail because of that incident that happend 2 years ago. And now she's out. Well I'm not afraid its just that, I'm worried that Tripp will be into my problems.

My thoughts were interupted by a knock at the door. When I opened it, I saw Tripp standing infront of me with a smile plastered in his face. He was holding a black plastic bag in his hands. I gestured him to enter. He faced me and...

"Good morning!" I said

"Good morning din" he kissed me

Well I wasn't suprised that he is kssing me. He is my boyfriend after all. I don't mind.

Back to my story... I helped Tripp prepare the breakfast he bought for the both of us.

"Kain na tayo." umupo ako sa harap niya

"Uhmm.. Tripp?"

"Hmm?"

"Pwede mo ba akong samahan after breakfast?"

"Saan?"

"It's my mom. Since Mother's day kahapon, naisip ko na magcelebrate ngayon. And, I will introduce you. It is okay?" I smiled hoping he would agree

"Sige. Excited na rin akong makita si Tita." he also smiled back

Habang kukain pinagusapan na namin ang mga dadalhin. I also told him na before magpunta sa bahay ay daanan muna namin yung flower shop na pinapagawa ko. Naisip ko magpagawa kasi mahilig ako sa flowers. He agreed to it, gusto niya din kasi makita.

"Tripp ako na dito. Magprepare ka na we're leaving in 1 hour."

*after 1 hour*

We rode a taxi and went to my flower shop. It's a flower shop at the same time, we will sell baked thingies and coffees. Matagal kong pinagisipan iyon, but with the help of my cousin, Daniella, as my business partner ay malapit na itong matapos. Tripp and I entered the shop while holding hands.

"Good morning Miss Alyah. Nakabalik na po pala kayo."

"Good morning din Mr. Lee. Kamusta naman po yung paggawa niyo?" I asked with smile

"Maayos naman, kaya lang dapat tapos na siya a month ago kaya lang yung mga flowers, ilaw at furnitures ay next week pa idedeliver. Pero maayos na siya, yun na lang talaga yung kulang."

"Good, we can have our opening next month!" I said, excitement is obvious in my tone

Hindi pa rin binibitawan ni Tripp yung kamay ko. Inikot naman yung loob nung cafe at sa likod na part sa labas doon ang mga flowers. I was amazed sa nakita ko. Ang galing talaga ni Daniella mag design, yes, she is an architect. She plans almost every big establishments in the country. That makes every 'Cortez' unique.

"You like it?" 

I can see in my peripheral vision that Tripp is amazed by the beauty of the place. Well, the flower part is designed by me.
