"Knock, knock, dollface."
There's Negan's infamous saying. Rolling my eyes, I sit up in bed. My hair is a mess and my eyes are red from the lack of sleep indulging my body.

"Would you stop saying that? It's annoying." I mumble, getting up and running my fingers through my hair.

"Dollface, I'll be annoying whenever the hell I want to be. Now, get up and get dressed. Meet me outside in ten minutes."

He quickly walks out, and I grab some clean clothes. I slip on my brown leather jacket and my brown combat boots. For safety, I grab my pistol.

As I walk out, I get the normal death glares. Believe it or not, i'm growing accustomed to it.

"Boss is waiting for you in the courtyard..." Simon says, and I give him a quick nod. That man gives me the creeps.

Pushing the metal doors open, I walk out into the open December air. Everyone looks as if they are going to freeze.

I laugh, because where I came from, it was way colder. It got into the negatives at least three times a week.

"Dollface, we're going on a run."

I groan. A run? Now? We just did one not long ago. Besides, my feet were killing me,

"Why? I thought we just...." He cuts me off by shoving his large hand over my mouth.

"Do. Not. Talk. Back."

I want to just to piss Negan off. But I know that if I do, I'll be punished.

The drive was almost silent. Nobody said anything; you could only hear breathing.

Someone could drop a pen.

The engine shuts off, and Negan smirks at me. "Get moving. Simon and Dwight, you guys get the building to the right. Angie and I will get the one to the left. The rest of you scavenge for anything else useful."

Of course I'm stuck with him.

I stay close to the tall man as he scopes out the area.

Despite him wearing his leather jacket, I could still see his back muscles. They looked....good.

As the doors open and walkers start flooding out, the thought subsides.

I grab the dull knife out of my pocket, and jab it in the walkers' heads.

Blood stains my tatted shirt, and Negan just smirks at me.

We walk into the abandoned convenient store, and we start looking for the items on the list.

I grab the canned food, whats left of the toiletries, and the leftover clothing items.

As I'm walking through an aisle, something catches my attention; it was a shiny diamond necklace.

I wonder why nobody grabbed it...

It could be valuable.

"Well, shit. That's a good find, dollface." Negan says behind me, nearly making me jump out of my skin.

"God, you scared me." I say, rolling my eyes. Negan grabs the necklace and tells me to move my hair up.

Not wanting to start up anything, I gently lift up my brown hair and he hooks the necklace around my neck. It fits like a glove.....

"Why are you being like this?" I ask, confused. He huffs, and I can feel the smile that's creeping upon his face.

"Because, you need people like me in your life, dollface."

His words sink deep within my brain.

Is it true? Do I really need Negan to keep me safe?
