Chapter 4

After i got dressed in the tank top and jean shorts. I know Lillian didnt know about the bruises but that still didnt stop me from feelimg any less self conscious about my body with all my scars cuts and bruises that pretty much cover every inch of my body, i sighed and walked out of the room, i was hungry and needed some food in my damn stomach. I was walking down the hallway when i bumped into a little girl.

"Oh Luna im so sorry forgive me" she bowed slightly her little blonde curls falling into her face.

"Luna? No i think your mistaken my names Alexis." She looked at me confused but then shook her her head as if she had just remembered something. Her eyes wondered down my arms then shot back to my face as if trying not to stare at my bruises.

"Yea Alexis um sorry," she stood up straight. "Can i help you find something?"

"Oh uh yea i was looking for the kitchen." My sromach growled as if agreeing with me.

"Yes of course Lu- Alexis follow me." She began walking down the stairs and i followed her. When we walked through a swinging door and the scent of different types of food wafted into my nose. There is a tall blonde woman standing at the stove cooking varioustypes of food there was enough food there to feed an army. The woman turned and looked at me with the swertest smile that instanly reminded me of Luke her eyes were the same golden bronish color that Luke had and i could tell they had to be related somehow

"Ahh Alexis!" She embraced me in a hug just like the kind i usrd to get from my mother. I winced a bit  as she gave me alittle squeeze but at that moment i didn't  care about the little bit of pain the hug may have caused me instead i just hugged her back and let the tears let the tears fall gfrom my eyes as i tried and failed at remembering the last  time i was hugged like this. All to soon she pulled away from the hug and looked at me. "Oh you must be starving here ill make you a sandwich before the pa- the family and other friends show up  for dinner."

"Mom she is going to find out eventually please dont force yourself to say something you dont mean." Luke said walking up behund me laying his arm aroundmy shoulder. I looked at him and realized he was wearing different clothes then what he was wearing before he left i thought it was kinda weird but i didnt mention it. Instead i asked something elses.

"Find out what?" Lukes mom looked at her son, man i should ask her what her name is, and Luke looked back at his mother before facing me.

"Its hard to explain but i will try," he took my hand in his. "Come with me." He said and we walked out to the back of the house, damn i didnt get my sandwich, i looked up at Luke as he sat me down on a lawn chair by a large pool. "Do you know what werewolves are?" He asked me.

"Yes i know what they are....why is that important?" I answered.

"Well i think it would be easiest to show youthen to try and explain it.." he looked down and backed away from me and i watched as black fur sprouted all over his body and it growing in size his features changing and he turned into a large black wolf with little white patches in a couple different spots. I was extremely shocked but not shicked that Luke had just turned into a giant wolf i was more shicked by thefact that i wasent afraid instead i had this compelling instinct to reach out and touch his fur and so rfhats what i did. I stood up from thechair i was sitting in and i walked up to him Luke instantly layed down his ears going flat against his head and his tail tucking between his legs I smiled at him to let him know it was okay as i reaxhed my hand up petting the soft black fur from his nose to between his ears. His wokfy face contorted into a look of confusion that i wasent afraid of him but the confusion quickly melted from his face and contorted into a look of extreme happiness and his tail began to wag. I layed my forehead against his and i whispered.

"This is the cooloest thing ever" and i wrapped my atms around his big wolfy head.

"Im so glad you accept him." Lules mom said from yhe back door as she came over with some clothes for him i did treally understand why until he shifted back and he was completely naked,sye handed him the shorts and he put them on i blushed,  he was still shirtless.

"Are there anymore like you?" I asked Luke

"Yes everyone in the pack are a werewolf like me but none are as big as i am." I looked at him confused wantimg him to explain more he .ist have iu derstood cuz he continued to explain. "See im the Alpha of the pack soim the biggest and the strongest the next strongest would be my beta and that is Markus, then my third in command Daniel, and then there are oack members like Derrick. Females have similar ranks top would be the Luna, my mate," when he says his mate he looks at me with happiness i didnt understand but i had a feeling i would understand soon. "Then there is the beta female Markus' mate Lillian, and the third in command female Daniels mate Cera." As if almost on cue the four of them and Derrick walk out from the trees each finishing putting on finishing touches  to putting on clothes. Cera walked over to me as she pulled her dark purple crop top down over her breasts and then she adjusted her booty shorts.

"Oh look the new Luna is awake." She said with a smile each of the others except Daniel gave her a dirty look. I just looked at luke in surprise. Luna? Thats what the little girl called me and that's what Luke said was the rank name for his mate.

Does that mean im his mate?

But im human!

I cant be his mate! At that thought darkness surrounded my vision and i passed out.
