Chapter 5

Alexis POV

I groaned as i opened my eyes and instantly i felt the tingles shoot up my arm and i knew it was Luke.

"Alexis?" He said concern in his voice.

"L-luke" I groaned aand looked at him and was blinded by the sunlight that flooded my vision. I looked around and realised i was in the room i woke up earlier. "What happened?" I asked looking at luke

"You fainted the doctor said it was just shock." He answered

"How long was i asleep?"

"Three days"

Three days?!?! I looked at him absolutely shocked I looked at him and hoped my shock was on my face.

"Dont worry your okay but im sure you  must be hungry....and thirsty. Do you wanna go down to the kitchen or would you rather i bring something up to you?" He asked looking at me with an emotion in his eyes i couldnt decipher.

"I uh i will come down but i wanna take a shower first." I said

"Sure of course i will have Lillian or somwone bring you some clothes." He said he turned to leave but thwn quickly turned back to me and hugged me i was confused so i just hugged him back. During the hug i felt the tingles shoot throughout my entire  body and.... i loved it. To soon he pulled away and walked out of the room.

I sighed and stood up and went into the bathroom i was extremely shocked when i walked passed the full body mirror and looked at my body. All of my bruises and cuts were pretty much healed. I looked really pretty. For the first time in almost six years i could look in the mirror and confidently say i thought i looked  pretty. And i havent showered in THREE DAMN DAYS!! I laughed at the irony and peeled my clothes off and got in the shower.

I stood under the running water for awhile until the door opened. I jumped as it startled me.

"Oh sorry Luna I was just gonna leave these clothes in here for you." A young woman with short  red hair that went to about her shoulders she smiled at me through the glass of the shower.

"Its uh its okay...."i said back not sure what her name was. I hadn't seen her yet i mean sure I've only been here for four days and i was fucking asleep for three of them.

"Im Kisha" she said as she smiled at sat the clothes by the sink.

"Im Alexis" i said as began to rub shampoo into my hair.

"Yes i know. Enjoy your shower." And with that she left. It made me feel a little weird to know everyone here seemed to know who i was when i didnt have a clue who any of them were. I still didnt even know Luke's moms name.

I sighed and finished up my shower before getting out and wrapping myself in a towel. Then i went over to the clothes that Kisha had briught in i was shocked  the shirt was this really cute yet really revealing blue crop top and another pair of short jean shorts. I reluctantly pit them on and then brushed out my hair and decided to let it air dry. I went over and looked in the full body mirror i looked cute but i felt to exposed, i mean yea the bruises were pretty much gone but it has been so long since i was able to show off my skin, it felt weird. I shrugged and went downstairs.

A couple of guys looked at me as i headed to the kitchen but i ignored them and walked in and when i got there i was enveloped into a tight hug i knew was from Luke because of the familiar tingles that shot through my body. Instinctualy i hugged him  back. He seemed to relax when I hugged him back. We were interupted by a clear of the throat Luke moved and i saw his mother staring at us. I smiled at her.

"Good morning Mrs. Stillworth" she laughed as i said it.

"Please dear just call me Maggie" she said as she placed two plates with eggs bacon toast and hashbrowns on the counter. Me and luke walked over and sat down he began to eat i just looked at the food afraid if i started eating i would get hit like i did at home. Maggie looked at me almost like she knew what i was thinking. "Go ahead and eat dear you will be okay" i looked up at her skeptical, she nodded at me encouragingly, and then began to eat.

"Thank you its delicious" i said with a smile. We ate in silence for awhile until Cera and Daniel walked in giggling but they stooped when Cera saw me. She looked at Luke and then back at me like she wasent sure what to do i looked at her but she just kept looking at Luke. I was about to say something when i heard a loud 'crack' and i fell to the ground clutching my side.

"Get her outside shes shifting!" I heard Maggie say. Shifting? What does that mean? I felt someone pick me up there were no tingles so it wasent Luke i wasent sure who it was then i felt the cool pricklyness and i jnew i was in the grass. *crack* i could feel my bones breaking and rearranging and i just cried out in pain wondering why no-one was helping me my last conscious thought was 'maybe they dont care'.

Luke POV

We were in the kitchen when i heard the loud ceack and i saw Alexis fall to the ground holding her side as she cried out in pain.

"Get her outside shes shifting!" I heard my mother yell but i couldnt move not when my mate was in pain. Daniel picked her up and Cera pushed us outside. Daniel put her down in the grass behind the pack house. I looked on in a mix of horror and excitement as i heard her bones breaking and rearranging themselvesas fur sprouted from her body.

"You should shift to man so shes not alone" daniel said. I noded and shifted too

"Our mate is beautiful" midnight said and followed the comment with a lustful growl. I could just nod in agreement as i looked on at the beautiful wolf that stood in front of me.
