Chapter 10

Christmas is coming up soon. No school for 3 weeks. Just spending some time with friends. Although I have to help Max and Harvey prepare for their Maths 'exam' that Miss Gibbons gave them. They are due to take it the Monday we are due back. How stupid is that? She is literally the worst teacher EVER! Good job I wont be seeing her face for another 3 weeks.

It's also Max and Harvey's birthday soon and I have no idea what to get them. It just stresses me out sooo much!

Why does everything have to happen so suddenly? Life is moving too fast. I wish that everything could just stop, slow down.

"Hey Max, how's your girlfriend that wants to kill me any chance she gets?" I asked him today at lunch.

Everyone thought I was saying it in a jokeing way but we both know full well that it wasn't a joke. He gave me a fake smile and it soon turned into a scowl. He clearly wasn't impressed by the comment I made.

It was true though. She would even invite me to her birthday party just to kill me. She hates my soul. I don't usually use the word hate because it was a strong word. But I mean it this time. She hates me. With a passion. It wasn't like that before though. What happened?

Just before their mum brought in some dessert, I felt a gentle hand on mine. It placed something heart shaped into my hand. I had compleatly forgot that I had given Harvey the locket just before the concert. It didn't even slip my mind. I thought that I had placed it onto my necklace hanger. I subtly place it around my neck and tucked it into my t-shirt just before anyone noticed. I was glad I came over for lunch because their mum makes the best apple crumble.

After lunch, Harvey decided to walk me home. Max was gonna come but after what I said about Holly, he didn't wanna talk to me. Like all day. I never heard a word from him. Nothing at all.

We reached my front door and I gave him a kiss on the cheek. Once I walked in, I took one step upstairs when my mum called me from the siting room.

"Since when did you have a boyfriend?" She asked.

I knew I was doomed and so I didn't get in trouble, I said since yesterday. But Ryan had to be a big mouthed ass and say it has been many months that we had been going out. I gave him a kick in the shin and told mum he had had a girlfriend since before our birthday which made her hit the roof. Not litterally.

Tillie 🙊: Mum found out about us.
Harvey 💕: And...?
Tillie 🙊: We aren't allowed to see each other anymore.
Harvey 💕: Tillie, I don't wanna do this..
Tillie 🙊: Don't!
Harvey 💕: Tillie, I have to
Tears were shooting down my face. I couldn't handle this anymore.
Tillie 🙊: Harvey!
Harvey 💕: Tillie, if your mum knows then we can't.
Tillie 🙊: Harvey!!
Harvey 💕: x

I heard a knock at my bedroom door. It was as if Ryan can hear my thoughts. He probably can actually as he is my twin. Fair enough.

The next day, I went to he recording studio from 7am until 10pm at night. Charlie got exausted midway through and had a sleep on a sofa. It was the day that I was gonna produce my first cover album. Well, the day before. I couldn't wait! We had to record just a couple more songs today and that was it.

Once we were all done, all we had to do is wait. I just went home and waited for the songs to come out on Spotify.

It hit midnight and I was just about to doze off to sleep when Max texted me. Since when did he ever want to talk to me again.

Max 😜: I'm sorry
Tillie 🙊: It is midnight you idiot! What do you mean you're sorry?
Max 😜: For everything
Tillie 🙊: That isn't being vauge
Max 😜: For everything I've done since your birthday.
Tillie 🙊: Once again. Vauge.
Max 😜: Once again. I'm sorry. And about you know what with Harvey...

I couldn't respond to that. It just made my eyes swell up with tears. I ended crying myself to sleep.

The next morning was Christmas eve eve. Me and Ryan did our usual Christmas shopping on Christmas eve eve. That was just, us. We weren't the best at doing anything on time. We had already done some shopping but we just needed a little more. We couldn't buy much as we had to get a taxi back. We did ask Mum and Charlie to see if they can pick us up though. They said they were both busy but I don't believe it.

Ryan decided that he would spend a whole fucking hour looking for a present for one of his friends. It is a Christmas gift. They wont kill you if you don't get them something they didn't want. I guess Ryan thinks he will kill him for what happened when we were ten. Long story put short. When we were ten years old, We did secret santa with our friends. Ryan had gotten his friend something that he didn't like and showed that crystel clear. He absaluttly went mental! He just gave it back to Ryan. They were not friends from that moment on. Good thing that is because he was a selfish bitch of a person. Since then, every Christmas shoping trip includes Ryan taked a whole year to choose a present. It is just pathetic.

I ended up getting some cactus earphones for Grace and a pair of slippers for Sabrina. They didn't mind if it was small because they loved them either way.

I looked through the presents for someone that I had missed. Who was it though? It then came to mind that I forgot two presents each for Max and Harvey. One for their birthday and one for Christmas. They are normally the first people that I think of but not since the break up. Max keeps apoligising and it is getting on my fucking nerves. He really can't forgive himself clearly. Harvey asked if I wanted a sleepover on their birthday. That was the first time I had spoken to him in a week. Mum said it was fine. As long as I let her know, she doesn't really care where I am. But like any other protective mum, she would make sure I had everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. 100% battery on my phone, spare make-up, a pocket map (who on Earth needs one of those?! We have google maps), a hairbrush, hairbands. Like, EVERYTHING.

I finally uploaded! Ok. So I'm sorry about not putting emojis in the text because my wifi is down and I am using data to upload this. Will edit it when I get the chance though. Ok... This chapter was a bit random but yeah. Gonna upload Saturdays? Probably not gonna happen but yeah. I don't know yet which chapter will have Christmas but will do that. Ok. Well. Gonna upload the chapter with Christmas either on the 23rd December or on Christmas. Ok... Um.... Im just gonna go..... bye...... :-)
