*Dialogue between S.H.I.E.LD and Jessica's mom

Hello, S.H.I.E.L.D department speaking, how may we help you today?

Ummm... Hello there, I know that you deal with special situations yes?

Yes we do madam. Now what is your situation?

My daughter... Well you may find this a tad bit strange but my daughter has green skin...

Um... Madam, you do realise that we are not a hospital, we don't have the right qualifications to give you a diagnosis.

(I overheard the conversation and grabbed the phone from mom)

No you don't understand!! I came into contact with chemicals and now I have green skin and my ears are super sensitive!!

Just calm down, madam. Maybe we can fit you in for a check up on your skin and ears. We can't really do any justice over the phone. Why don't you make a visit to S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters tomorrow say, 2:00pm? Our address is in the phone book. That is where I assume you successfully found our number. Can you just text me your name and number?

(Mom grabs the phone from me)

Sure thing. We will be there. Thank you so much, we appreciate it.

-end of conversation-

"Well that's sorted. You obviously can't go to school for a few days until this problem disappears".

I'm more than happy to stay home from school. Even though I love school, there are rumours circulating that I caused the fire. Teachers hate me. Students love me. That may not necessarily be a bad thing but I could really use a break.

I am so curious to see what S.H.I.E.L.D has in store for me. What can they do about my problem other than telling me what is wrong with me? At this state of affairs, I'll probably never have another school day in my life.

"So mom, what should we do now?"

"I don't know, maybe watch some television or something. Whatever you would do if you didn't burn down the lab. Get on with life for a few more hours and enjoy being normal. Tomorrow we have an unusual day".

I feel kinda lost right now. Okay, so we are going to S.H.I.E.L.D tomorrow but there is some thing that isn't letting me rest. I guess I'll just have to stay restless until tomorrow.
