The little Kiara got up excited for the first day of training in the Skywalker Jedi Academy. Packing all her stuff she found herself fantasizing about becoming a powerful Jedi and fighting all the evil forces out there.
"Mom?" She asked walking downstairs her big house. She was from a considerate rich family and she also was an only child making her a hopelessly spoiled princess.
"Yes Kiara?" Her Mom answered preparing their breakfast.
"I'm done packing." She said getting closer to her mom and giving her a hug. She knew they will not see each other again anytime soon. Kiara had her breakfast with her parents and prepared to say goodbye to them. She was surely going to miss her home.
Kiara finally arrived at the Academy and moved herself into a very small room. But she didn't mind at all. She was happy to finally explore her powers. When she was done she went to the temple to wait for their first ever lesson with the powerful Jedi master Luke Skywalker. She made herself way through all the children and sat next to a tall boy with black hair.

"My name is Kiara Ulric." the girl said looking at the mysterious boy next to her.
"I'm Ben, Ben Solo." The boy replied giving her a shy smile.

"Well children today we are going to learn the basics... we are going to lift very heavy rocks." Master Skywalker said to all the silent children looking at him with admiration. "We are going to be working in pairs so pick a partner."

Kiara looked around her to find that all the girls were in pairs leaving her alone.
"Uh.. Kiara?" Ben asked her.
"Yes Ben?"
"Would you like to be my partner?" He asked her a bit embarrassed. She glanced at the other boys and she noticed Ben didn't had friends neither.
"Yes, sure" she smiled at him making his cheeks turn pink.

Later that day they found themselves talking around the wood fire about all sort of things. She found out he was the nephew of Master  Luke and that the other boys liked to pick on him about it. That made her blood boil.

"Do you miss your parents?" She asked him.
"No, just my mother."
"Why?"
"My father's never home." He said with disgust in his voice.
"Oh." She awkwardly replied. "I'm sorry."
"No, it's not your fault." He said. "It's his fault"
