Ayla's POV:

It's been 9 days since the Virtues arrive at the Wizarding World. 9 days since the attack on Westwood High. I've been teaching them all things magic and to be frank, they're horrible at it. I'm trying so hard to teach them and I'm glad that they're not chatting too much, maybe because magic is interesting, but they are having such a tough time understanding everything.

"Today we will be brewing a potion called The Draught of Living Death. If a person were to drink this, they will be in deep sleeping and it will appear as though they're dead. This potion is tough to brew so that is why we are learning the theory behind it before brewing it tomorrow. Let's start." I said, smiling at their interested faces.

half an hour later

"So, everybody understand?" I asked, looking at them. Well, clearly not because all of them, literally all of them, looked blank and confused. I sighed silently and picked up a marker.

After explaining for another half an hour, I silently prayed that they understood the concept as we have a schedule to keep up to.

"So do you all understand?" All of them nodded vigorously and I slowly read all of their minds. Yes, finally thank God they understood Potions.

"Is Potions just like Chemistry, or is it just me who thinks so?" Joey asked, looking around.

"Oh my God, I know right!"

"Yea totally."

"Wow, we can't really escape the Muggle world can we now?"

I chuckled at their responses and agreed with Joey.

"Yes, Potions is just like Chemistry. However, we do not have to memorize the Periodic Table or remember chemical formulas. It's tough, definitely but you will have to master the art of experimenting." I said, smiling slightly at them.

After the lesson, the students were given 2 hours to have some free time before having tea and a continuation of the previous Transfiguration lesson.

I was making cupcakes when the humongous front door was banged open. I chuckled softly, knowing exactly who that was. Iris.

"What is it this time? He pushed you into a broom cupboard?" I said, sniggering at her sour face. She sat opposite of me and grumbled.

"How could you possibly know that? That... that..." she seethed, grabbing a bottle of Firewhiskey from the cupboard below her and poured it in a cup before chugging it down.

I grimaced as she chugged down the liquid that burned her throat slightly.

"Misogynistic bastard?" I said, completing her sentence and smiled at her.

She rolled her eyes and nodded tersely. Gosh, she is so blind. They clearly like each other and they're just avoiding the subject in general.

"Ris, you can't avoid your feelings for him, you do know that right?" I said softly, patting her shoulder.

"You said he likes me. He clearly doesn't. He treats me like shit and calls me mudblood. I'm a pureblood you daft asshole! Not that I care about blood prejudices but yea you get what I meant." She ranted, placing her head on the table and screamed slightly.

I laughed at her reaction. I know it's bad to be laughing at her situation but it's hard not to.

"Iris, you do realise that he was raised differently right? He does not know how love feels like and it is very sad actually. I think you should show him that you love him. Maybe something will come out of it?" I suggested, piping cream cheese on the cupcakes.

She furrowed her brows, thinking about it. I piped the last cupcake and placed them in the fridge and sat down beside her.

"So, what do you think you should do?" I said, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Maybe I should talk to him civilly? Without any curses or derogatory comments?"

"Yes, you should try that out. If he pushes you away, break down his walls and try again and again." I suggested, looking at her.

"Okay... I'll try it out tomorrow. Thanks Ayla." She said, heading upstairs.

I made some tea and thought, "How weird is it? I give my older sisters relationship advice and I'm not even in a relationship?" I took out the cupcakes and called everyone down for tea.
