Chapter 9. (Messed it up)
Derek's POV:
He watched her as she ran out of her apartment. He was sure she wasn't that drunk. And she told him so many things about how she felt. Was it just a lie? He could feel a tear running down his cheek. She was all he ever wanted, from the day he met her. And now she couldn't even remember yesterday. *Bip, bip* His phone rang. "Yeah" "Morgan, it's JJ, I'm sorry to ruin your days off, but we have a case." "I'll be right there. Give me 20." He found his clothes and just for a second, he was hoping that she was standing out there, in front of her door, remembering. But he knew it wouldn't happen. When he arrived at the BAU, he got the files from JJ and he could see that everyone was gathered around the round table. He sat down at the table. "Where's Garcia?" And that's when she stepped inside the room. His heart was pounding, just like yesterday, this was just different. She didn't even notice him. He messed it up, all of it. He wanted to cry so badly, but he was good at keeping things like that in.
Garcia's POV:
She couldn't look at him, she was afraid she was going to cry. Deep inside, she wanted him so badly. But she knew that they worked together, and that it would ruin everything. "Okay let's begin. A family has been found brutally murdered in their home. Two children and their parents." Rossi interrupted "If it's only a murdered family, why is it our case?" "Uhm. They were found with their tongues ripped out. It matches a case from 10 years ago." She answered. "Wheels up in 30, JJ stay here and help Garcia with connecting the cases" Hotch said. Garcia noticed that Derek walked towards her, so she rushed out of the room. She couldn't believe it...
