Warmth (Bumblebee Rid x Human! Reader) Request

"Heads up (Y/n)!" Strongarm shouts at me as a Deception pod barrels my direction.

I dive to the side, nearly avoiding being hit by the containment cell. Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Grimlock and Windblade rush to the scene.

Bumblebee runs over to me, picking me up gently in his servos.

"Are you ok (Y/n)?! Are you hurt?!" He immediately questions, concerning for my well being.

I smile up at him and pat his servo.

"I'm okay Bee, I promise."

He smiles down at me and takes a releaved breath. Strongarm jogs over to Bee and I, regret all over her face.

"Sir, (Y/n), I'm so sorry! I didn't realize that some of the pods were lose and-"

Bee raises his servo that wasn't holding me.

"It's okay Cadet, no one was hurt, that's all that matters." He convinces.

She nods, saying one last sorry as she heads over to help with the cleanup of the pods. I look up at Bee and pat his servo once more.

"You can put me down now Bee."

He sighs, obviously not a fan of the idea. But after a few seconds, he slowly lowers his servo and I hop off.

He transforms into his alt mode and opens is door.

"Care for a drive?" He speaks over the radio.

I smile and nod, happily getting in.

We drive out of base and into the forest, ending at a cliff overlooking Crown City.

I open his door and get out, allowing him to transform. He sits down on the edge, and I climb up and sit on his shoulder.

"Hey, (Y/n), do you think that I'm a good leader?" Bee suddenly asks.

I sigh, here we go with the leader doubting again.

"Bee, I think that you are an amazing leader. Everyone on the team looks up to you and at the end of the day, respects you. Gee, I think that Optimus can even learn something from you. Stop doubting yourself and just embrace it."

He looks over at me, a slight blush covering his features.

"You really think so?" He smiles.

I nod and smile.

"Yes."

I think that he was about to say something before a rumbling sounded in the distance. He quickly took me into his servos and got in a defensive stance.

"Decepticons." He says to himself.

"No silly, it's just thunder." I shake my head and say.

A cool feeling washes over me along with a few drops of water. Just like someone turned a switch, it began to poor.

l squeal in surprise as Bee quickly transforms into his alt mode with me inside. We both laugh in surprise.

I can feel a shiver come from Bee as the rain poured down harder.

"Lets drive back to base, I don't want you to catch a cold." I say as he already puts himself in drive.

The drive back was fun, we roared through the muddy roads with such speed that I thought we should've crashed by now.

We drive into base, taking shelter in the garage where the bots stayed. I rush out of his alt mode and go run to change out of my wet clothes.

When I return, I see Bee sitting in his holoform on the couch with two cups of hot chocolate. I smile and go and sit down next to him, cuddling into his side. He chuckles, putting a blanket on top of us.

I gratefully take the hot chocolate and welcome the warmth to my ice cold hands. I rest my head on his shoulder and get comfortable next to him.

He puts an arm around my shoulders and pulls me close. Why couldn't rain everyday?
