Eighteen Years later...

Noelle's POV

I stood on the edge of the steep cliff. A full moon lit up the sky. The wind blew through my cape made of white silk, and my dirty-blond colored hair. I had my Celestial Bow out, which I aimed at a deer. My robotic eye zoomed in on the target.

"That's it." I whispered. "Just step out from behind the bush-"

I was interrupted by a huge booming sound. A dark beacon was lighting up the sky. The deer ran away.

"Argh. Dammit. There goes dinner." I said. I slid the bow on my back, and put the arrow in a holder on my left side. "Well, better go see what that was about."

I howled, and a huge black wolf leaped to my side.

"Good girl Nightmare! Can you give me a lift to the HQ?" I said. The wolf licked my face. "Ok, ok! Stop it now!" I chuckled. I climbed on the wolf's back, and put the hood of my cape over my head. "Let's go."

Nightmare sped off to were the black beam was. Whenever we see that beam, us gods and goddesses are supposed to come immediately for some sort of emergency. We reached it in only a few minutes. Nightmare halted to a stop, and I did a front flip of her back. I entered the HQ, as Nightmare decided to take a nap on the porch.

I walked to the meeting room. Sure enough, the other gods were there. The only other goddess besides me is Winter, yet I had no idea where she was.

She is thirty two now I believe. Man, that means I'm in my early sixties. When your immortal, you don't really age after becoming an adult, or keep track of how old you are.

All the seats were taken, so I stood in the corner with my hood still on.

"Oi, why are we here? I was in the middle of hunting." I said, annoyed. Pyro entered the room, and the other gods bowed. They motioned for me to bow as well, but I didn't. I'm not going to bow to my own husband. Pyro sat down in a chair at the head of the table.

Pyro began to speak about some trouble in his domain, blah blah blah. I ignored him most of the time, just tweaking my robotic arm with tools.

Winter popped her head in the room. She mouthed the words, "Come here." to me. I followed her out of the room, and onto the porch outside.

"You've grown so much since I've last seen you." I said. It as true. I hadn't seen Winter for the last eight years, since I've been so busy with my own domain. I never even had the time to be with my daughter.

"I missed you too, Mom." she said, then sighed. I could sense something was wrong.

The question is, what?

Winter's POV

Ok, how do you break to your mom who has been gone for eight years, that you were pregnant? I have no clue. My mom had missed so much, such as Loleris and I getting married. And now I had a child, yet I haven't even told Loleris.

"Mom, while you were gone, I married Loleris." I began.

"Alright..." she said, partially confused.

"And I'm pregnant."

My mom just looked at me, shocked. She shook her head, and grabbed my arm. I stared into her cold blue eyes.

"DO NOT TELL LOLERIS OR YOUR FATHER!" she shouted abruptly.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because, let's just say your father wouldn't be happy, and I can't even imagine how Loleris would react. When I was pregnant with you, your father wasn't the kindness person. I told you what pain I went through. And I won't let it happen to you. So whatever you do, DON'T TELL ANYONE!" my mom concluded. She released me. "I'm sorry Winter... I overreacted."

"Yeah, I know." I replied sarcastically. My mom and I went into the meeting room. She stood in a corner, and I sat in a chair. Throughout the meeting, we exchanged nervously glances.

Don't tell anyone, don't tell anyone. That's all I have to do.

For now.
