Teto, Len, and Piko pushed their way through more traffic until they arrived at the elevator. After making sure it was empty, they went inside. Len pushed the bottom button.

"Isn't this insane?" Teto asked, directing her question more to Piko than Len. "Just a couple days ago, we were prisoners, now, we're so close to freedom."

Piko looked at her and nodded.

"I'm just glad we're so close, and this'll all be over soon."

After Teto refreshed the plan one more time with Piko and Len, the elevator arrived on the Head's floor. As soon as the door opened, the three stepped outside.

"Make sure your faces are covered up pretty well." Teto reminded them before ringing the bell. Len and Piko adjusted their surgical masks and caps so only their eyes shone. Teto prodded the bell with her finger. After a short buzzer sound, Kaito's voice came through the speaker.

"Head's office, how can I help you?"

Teto put on her best "worried doctor" voice.

"Sir! We need your help, one of the patients is going mad, they're tearing one of the labs apart!"

She heard him sigh.

"Very well then, I'll be out shortly."

As soon as the speaker cut out, Teto flashed a big smile at the other two. It lightened both of their hearts to see her smile so brightly for the first time.

"Alright, Piko, it's almost go time. Remember, you'll only have about five minutes, seven if you're lucky. You remember where to meet Len and I?"

Piko nodded.

"The storage room, yep. Don't worry, I won't let you down."

Not long after, Kaito came out of his office, a dagger tucked into his belt. Teto shuddered at the sight of it.

"Well, let's get to it, come on now."

They followed him into the elevator. On the ride back up, Teto quickly passed the ID card to Piko behind Kaito's back. Once the elevator door opened, all four of them walked out, but on Teto's cue, Piko hurried back into the elevator before the doors closed again. He pressed the bottom button and the elevator took him back down to Kaito's office, which was now vacant.

After using his ability to power off the cameras again, he scanned Luka's ID. Luckily, it still worked. As soon as the door opened, Piko saw the safe. It was on Kaito's large desk in the back of the room. As he hurried across to it, he saw something else that caught his eye resting on Kaito's desk. It was a ruby necklace, the gemstone cut in the shape of a heart. He took it, deciding to give it to Teto with the antidote. He turned to the safe.

It was a modern safe, instead of a dial, there was a keypad for a password to be entered. Piko smiled. This was right up his alley. Working quickly, he shocked the keypad repeatedly, waiting for the lock to give. It eventually did, and the door swung open. Inside was a small, red velvet bag. He took it and glanced inside. Sure enough, the antidote was inside. It was a black liquid inside a small glass vial.

Sticking the bag in his pocket, Piko looked around for a replacement. He found another, nearly identical vial, except the liquid inside was more a shade of navy blue than black. He stuck it inside the safe and closed the door, then ran back out of the office and into the elevator. He smiled to himself. He had done it.

Meanwhile, Teto and Len led Kaito farther and farther away from his office. Len checked his watch. Five minutes had passed. He nodded to Teto. She pulled her right hand into the front of her body, so Kaito couldn't see. Then, she held up three fingers, then two, then one. On one, both of them bolted for it.
