Corl's POV:
What. The. Heck. Am. I. Doing.
I'm moving in with a stranger I met at a park who I talked to for ten minutes!
I could be putting Layni in so much danger!
Same with me.
But my stupid, idiot, dumb brain decided to say okay!
I'm an idiot!!!!
But I'm on the porch.
I knocked.
"Hi, Corl!" Denis said as he opened the door. It took me about an hour to get to Denis's house.
"Hey!" I said. Layni was standing by me she looked unsure about moving in with Denis it started to worry me even more but I'm sure everything will be fine I reassure myself and spit out the words "How's it going?".
Denis doesn't say anything for a moment he was to busy staring at me after a moment he snapped back into reality and replied "Oh sorry your just so umm ha-handsome" As soon as Denis said that you could tell he got nervous. Layni looked up at me with a smile on her face and looks over at Denis. "Oh it's fine" I say blushing a bit
Denis laughs awkwardly and says "Um come in!"
I step inside and Layni follows me. The first thing I noticed was a YouTube play button for one million subscribers.
I assumed he did YouTube so I said
"So, you do YouTube?"
"Yea, I'm about to hit four million subscribers"
Denis said bragging jokingly
I simply laugh and notice Denis is staring at the door.
Denis POV:
I look over at the door and start having flashbacks to the night Alex left I remember hearing ambulance sirens and loud noises a few minutes after he left.
I start to zone out having more flashbacks of Alex and I when we were together. I still can't believe Alex never loved me out of the years we were together.
I guess I had been zoning out for to long because an hand waved across my face
"Earth to Denis, you there buddy?"
I return to reality, it was Corl.
"Oh yea, sorry I tend to zone out often."
Corl nods his head in response and Layni looks up at him with a rather confused look.
"So, I guess I'll show you to your rooms!" I said. Corl nodded. Layni tagged along behind him. I knew Mollee wouldn't be coming over for a week so she could use Mollee's room.
"My older sister comes over sometimes, you can use her room if that's alright, Layni." I explained to her.
She nodded slightly and walked in with her bags.
Corl looked at her and looked back at me.
(Corl's POV)
I looked over at him. His eyes locked with mine. It was something about him that made my heart melt...
