Megan pov* (Dream) I woke up to the sound of people screaming and cars blaring. I get I of my bed to find my parents. When I go out to my living room I see things thrown everywhere.
"Mom, dad were are you" I yell Then I hear crying coming from my sisters room so I rush to her to see what's happening.
"Lilly what's wrong" I tried to calm her down until I realized why she was crying.
There where people running outside and other people attacking them so I grabbed my sister and started running around the house looking for my parents.
"MOM DAD WHERE ARE YOU WE NEED TO LEAVE" my stupid self did that for 20 minutes until I finally realized that they already left. I didn't want to believe it but I had to.
They where never good parents, my mother ignoring and neglecting us and my father an abusive drunk, I should have known in a crisis they would abandon us.
So I stopped searching for them and started to pack everything I needed. I started with getting my huge hiking backpack and filled it with food and water, then I went to Lilly's room and got all her clothes then lastly my stuff.
I changed my clothes so I could have something easy to run in

Then I picked up Lilly and ran out of the house, it looked to have calmed down but I could never be too sure so I went into the woods behind my house to stay away from the city and crowded areas because something told my that it wasn't a good idea to be there.
Time skip* I had been walking for quite a while now and I was getting tired. I really needed to sleep but I couldn't I had Lilly to think about and I needed to stay alert encase one of those people came along, I can't risk falling asleep now.
As I kept walking I heard the commotion at the highway and it was pretty loud. Then I started hearing explosions. And when I looked through the trees I saw something horrible. The city was being blown up.
