Chapter 2 - maddie

Once I turned around I saw a girl who has been making my life horrible for the past couple of years. Maddie
"Well well Well" she began. I started to tense up wondering what would happen today.
" what do we have here? What's your name pretty boy."
I quickly turned my head at Luke we worried eyes. He did the same at me.
" um Luke I am new here." He started
" who are you anyway"
" Maddison, I the most popular girl in school and also if you want to have a reputation here at this school I suggest you hang out with us and leave this thing to die with rats"
Tears started to fall from my eyes.
" look see she is just a baby. Ahh does little rosey need a hug come here."
Maddison reach her arms out at me. I knew what she was about to do. However before she could touch me two hangs pushed her onto the ground.
" don't even think about touching my friend ever!" Luke shouted "Come on rose let's head to class." Luke said while yanking my arm.

*End of the day*

Once the last bell went I headed back over to my locker. Guess who was standing there. I decided to just go to the bus stop so I could avoid her but that back fired.
"Hay missy" Maddie shouted. I tried to ignore her but without warning I was twisted round.
"You better watch your back because I sure have something to do with you tomorrow" I quickly nod my head and went over to my locker as she went the other direction.

Back home
When I got home I headed to my room and dropped my stuff down. I then started my homework while I waited for my parents to get home.
Suddenly I heard the door slam shut which made me jump of my bed.
"rose get down here" my mum shouted. Without hesitation I jump of the floor and ran down the stairs. I looked at my mother with scared eyes as she glared at me. She told me that I needed to go downstairs and get some beer and cigarettes. She also told me to get change. I knew what would happen tonight. Beating. Yes you heard me my mum and dad abuse me. They get drunk which cases me to get punished for stupid reason. However I did what I was told and headed downstairs for one heck of a Knight.
