22~Basement days

Basement days

My brother Gerard never comes out of the basement, ok it's his room but he never leaves. I haven't seen him in a while, sometimes I see him around school or getting food but he never talks just does his stuff in a coma-like-state. Basically my bothers a zombi. That's slightly a bit over the top but the idea is still there. Gerard Way lives in the basement in my house and there is no way I can get him out. I've tried everything movie nights, concerts, comic book singings, food, water, sunlight, a cute friend of mine, video games and everything else that he has said no or I will do it later. Tonight is different though, I have Ray and Frank coming over to play videos games in my basement. I warned them that Gerard will be in there and the room will probably smell like death and cum as he never comes out but they seemed cool with it as it means we can play video games.

the knock at the door signals that the boys are here, well it's now or never Gerard if you won't come out I'm coming in and I'm coming out with my brother back. I open the door with a big smile on my face to see Ray and Frank with bags of sweets, snacks and games to play and possibly some horror films mixed in there as well. Tonight is going to be great. "Alright guys come in and we will head straight down to try and get Gerard to come out and hang with us. It might seem mean just breaking into his room to play games and stuff but I miss him." Ray pulls me in for a hug and we all head towards the basement door.

I knock on the door even though no matter what we are going in, I don't hear anything coming from inside but a grunt and the lock being turned from the inside. No one has been in Gerard's room for ages, not even me which is really weird considering me and him were so close before he just shut himself away from the world, never to come out again. "Gerard you better be decent as I have Ray and Frank coming in to play video games with us." I warn him before just going for it and opening the door quickly so he can't lock the door again.

It's dark and very warm. He hasn't turned on any lights so everything is in darkness, this is very strange. "Mikey what the hell do you want to play video games in my room for?" I hear Gerard ask from under the covers on his bed, I can't even see him just a lump hiding from the world.

"Because you have been hiding and I miss my brother so come out from under there and play with us. I'm not taking no as an answer." I put my hands on my hips while the guys go and set up the games on the system.

"If you don't come play with us I'm just going to have to sit on you." Frank says turning around and smirking at us Ways. With that Gerard sits right up and flares into Franks eyes but slowly gets up off the bed to sit on the floor in front of the TV but next to Frank, don't ask me why I'm confused as well.

"How the fuck did little Frank Iero get Gerard Way out of bed?" Ray asks in utter confusion. I shake my head as a response and sit in the sofa next to Ray.

A few hours later the snacks are basically gone, games been played, movies watched and everyone is falling asleep cuddling up next to each other on the sofa although Frank and Gee look to be pretty close. I don't even want to know what's going on there with those two so I leave them to it and instead sleep. I can hear them whispering sweet nothings to each other but pretend not to notice in fear Gee will hide again but longer this time than the last.
