Chapter 5 - Amy's P.O.V Creepy Laughter Is Never A Good Sign

This place never seem to end, it was long, dark, odd and very creepy. There was something here that seemed to be watching us or following us, hiding in the shadows. I think being with the Doctor for so long, has given me and sixth sense to dangers. Rory and I entered a new room, it was big room like all the others.

The floor was decorated in checkerboard floor, along with a large main staircase. I grabbed on to Rory's hand tighter, as we made are way through the room. Suddenly an eerie child's laughter echoed through the room.

"You hear that?"I asked, as I paused in my steps along with Rory, who looked around to find out whatever made the laugh.

"Yeah."Rory said. I took a deep breath, standing here wasn't going to get us out of here and not going to keep us safe, so I carried on walking but Rory held me back.

"Wait!"Rory hissed, and the creepy laugh get even louder and was getting even closer. If we stopped here it was going to get us.

"They're getting closer!"I hissed back.

"They?!"Rory shouted. I glared at him and he shut up and I pointed to the door ahead of us, whatever it was, it was coming from there. Slowly, we approached the door and I could tell Rory was hesitating more then he should.  I raised my wooden pan as we reached the door and Rory reached across slowly for the doorknob, as he touched it he quickly opened it.

Both Rory and myself let out scream and jumped back at the dark shadow in doorway. It was huge the same height as myself. It was life-sized doll, it had large head and the paint was chipping off.

"It's just.. It's a dummy. Oh, it's a dummy."I said, with a sigh of relief. I couldn't believe I screamed at doll.

"This is... weird."Rory said, I just turned to him and gave him look. I couldn't believe he just said that, thinking of what his life is like.

"Says the time-travelling nurse."I said and Rory just rolled his eyes. He bravely reached forward and tapped the head of the doll. A hollow sound can from it, so it wasn't alive. I guess it wasn't that making the creepy sound.

"Let's just... leave that for now. Come on."I said, as the doll was giving me an hair raising feeling to get away from it. We turned away from the doll and continued in a new direction to find a way out of the this place.

Another hallway and yet again another dead end. It was beginning to be a pattern, something was off here and something was making sure that we wasn't getting out here. Rory was getting annoying as he muttered continuously.

"Why aren't there any lights? I miss lights. You don't really miss things till they're gone, do you? That's what my nan used to say, 'You'll never miss the water till the well runs dry.'.."Rory said, as muttered  on and on.

"Rory."I said, trying to get him to calm down.

"Except light I mean, not water. Lights are great, aren't they? I mean if this place was all lit up, we wouldn't even be worried at all."Rory said, I could hear he was becoming panicked and I couldn't blame him.

"Rory! Panicking. A bit."I said, with a slight yell.

"Yeah, yeah. Sorry."Rory said, and suddenly I could hear the rapid sound of feet heading this way. We both turned around to see a man, middle aged and utterly scared I would say petrified.

"Help me! Please! Keep them away from me! Keep them away!"The man said in complete terror. Suddenly everything happen so quickly, before we could speak one of the life size doll (different to the one we saw before) grabbed hold of him, around his neck and forced him to floor.

His scream echoed in corridors, and then he began to turn into one of the dolls. His got bigger and turned to wood and he no longer was screaming.

"I take it all back. Panic now."I shouted, to which Rory nodded. We both ran away screaming as we ran away.

"Don't a run away. We want to play!"The doll said, and it couldn't be anymore creepy and scary. We reached a room, and just as the doll entered the room, we slammed the door in dolls faces.

The dolls began to laugh, as we both leaned against the doors to keep them out of the room. Rory knelt down and looked under the crack to see the dolls have moved.

"They're going."Rory said, I leaned against the door and let out sigh of relief along with Rory. I knew something was going on, and whatever it was I didn't know. We needed Doctor and we needed him now.
