Chapter 1  - Sapphire's P.O.V The Letters

I flicked through a old batted book trying to find any means of the Doctor. The Doctor left me here with Rory and Amy. He said he'd keep in touch that was 2 months ago. I knew he was up to something it was the Doctor.

Rory unpacked the groceries from the shopping bag. Amy was helping i really didn't care for that i was reading from a history book that caught my eye.

"At the personal intervention of the King, the unnamed doctor was incarcerated without trial in the Tower Of London"I read aloud from the book.

It has to be him, it was the 'unnamed doctor' and he was in trouble it practically shouted the Doctor "..OK, but it doesn't have to be him"Rory said.

"Two nights later a magical sphere some 20 feet across was seen floating away from the tower, bearing the mysterious doctor aloft."I read aloud. I turned to the married couple and gave them a smug look.

"OK...it's him"Rory admitted.

"There's more.."I said. 

I sat with my feet crossed on the floor reading the book. Amy and Rory were lying on the couch with Amy in Rory's arms.

I slam the book, in frustration "..It's like he's being deliberately ridiculous, trying to attract our attention"I said with frustrations. I don't know why he doesn't just come to the house he has a frinkin space ship!. 

"Are you watching this again?"Amy said. I looked to the TV and saw a familiar program on it was Laurel and Hardy's 'Sons of the Desert'.

"I've explained the jokes"Rory said. I heard the door bell go no ones stands to answer it, Amy rolls her eyes and stands up.

"Ooh I'll get"Amy said sarcastically and heads for the door.

"So what are you saying? Do you really think he's back there trying to wave to us out of history books?"Rory said.

"It's the sort of thing he'd do"I said.

"Yeah, but why?"Rory said.

"He said he'd be in touch"I reminded him.

"Two months ago"Rory said, Amy walked into the room with letter's in her hands she passed me one. It read Sapphire Pond across in familiar hand writing, also the card was blue, TARDIS blue. It had to be from the Doctor.

"Two months is nothing. He's up to something, I know he is, I know him"I said, i ripped open the letter and Amy does the same.

"What is it? Amy?"Rory asked.

"A date, a time, a map reference. I think it's an invitation"Amy explained.

"From who?"Rory asked. I looked for signature but it just gave some basic details were to go, no signature. It was definitely the Doctor.

"It's not signed. Look, TARDIS blue!.."I shouted and tosses him the letter, jumping to my feet and headed to pack.

The sun rays seared down on the floor heating to searing temperature that burnt any bare feet that touched it. The sun also made it's way into the yellow school bus which the driver gave us a free ride. The bus finally stops and jumping from my seat, grabbing my heavy backpack eagerly and Amy and Rory followed as we exited the bus, turning to bus driver "..Thanks!"I called.

"You're very welcome"Driver said.

"Uh! This is it, yeah? The right place?"I asked. 

Looking around it was just empty in the middle of no where, no people and no houses. It was were coordinates said to be, the bus finally takes off, as the driver hits the acceleration button and raced off leaving a cloud of dust in air.
