the harsh sound of an alarm rang throughout the small room, as an extremely disoriented heaven slowly opened her eyes, the sound of soft breathing filling her ears as her phone continued to loudly ding beside her.
as the breathing gradually got louder and the dinging slow stop, the confused girl began to realize two things - one that this wasn't her room, and two, that there was an unfamiliar body sleeping beside her.
with a massive headache and massive regret in her heart, heaven rose from the bed, trying to find all of her items, so she could leave unnoticed - all the while trying to figure out how she got in this situation to begin with.
she was almost on her way out of the room, until a final ding from her phone awoke the mystery boy up from his sleep.
"you're just gonna leave without saying goodbye?"
the boy spoke almost causally as if she was somehow obligated to tell him goodbye before leaving, as if he wasn't anything more than a complete stranger to her.
"you were sleeping."
she spoke, the words stuttering out of her mouth as nerves filled her body. she was at least grateful for the fact that the random she had just hooked up was very very handsome.
"oh dear holly, is that anyway to treat the guy who showed you a wonderful night?"
"who the fuck is holly? my name is heaven!"
slowly the butterflies that were in her stomach slowly died being replaced by complete anger at the boys mistake of calling her the wrong name.
rolling her eyes, she brushed past the still mystery boy, who had yet to recover from his epic slip up, and walked out the room - her head still aching from all the alcohol she most likely consumed that night.
as she made her way outside, she was of course met with another problem, she didn't have her car and she didn't have any money for an uber.
"well, don't we have our selves a little dilemma."
the boy spoke,now fully clothed, as he walked beside her, apparently finding this whole ordeal very - very funny.
she had a few options - she could call her parents to come get her, only to be subject to lots of yelling and probably death, or she could just walk herself home, but judging by what she could see of her surroundings she was no where near her house.
so - she was left with only one thing left to do, and while it wasn't close to being her favorite choice, it was the only one that wouldn't end with her dead or lost.
"look, as we can already tell, I disklike you greatly - however I need a ride home and after calling me by a random name, you owe it to me."
she spoke further taking in his appearance, she was once again grateful for waking up next to a handsome asshole instead of a killer or something.
"first, I owe you nothing princess, but since you asked so nicely I'll surely take you home...as soon as I get dressed."
he said walking back into the house and leaving her standing in the middle of a driveaway angry at herself for ever letting this happen.

the car ride home was silent, but that was expected from two people who barely knew anything about each other.
"so - my name is zion if you were wondering. "
he spoke - trying to break through the thick silence that filled up the car, remembering that while she told him her name, he never told her his.
"i wasn't wondering, but thanks anyway."
she said rolling her eyes as she began to see familiar things, letting her know that they were finally close to her home.
"this is as far as you should go. I don't think getting out of a strange car after not coming home last night would be in my best interest."
she spoke gathering all her things as he slowly stopped the car, pulling into the side of the road.
"well I guess this is goodbye heaven, you can always hit me up if you ever want to do this again."
he spoke slipping a sheet of paper which held his number into her hand, as she got out of the black car.
"i'll have to pass on that, but thanks for the ride I guess ; goodbye zeke - "
"- zion. my name is zion."
he corrected as she rolled her eyes and walked away from his car, still holding on to that black sheet of paper despite what she had previously said.
