Sorry the last chapter sucked, I just needed to get into this one! Also, I'm sorry I'm posting this so late-- I just really needed to get it out on time! It is Thanksgiving, so if you aren't in the USA, you watch football (the American kind) stuff your face, watch parades, and spend time with friends and family! Thanks for reading and I won't be posting in a while 'cause I have Irish dance regionals coming up but after I'll be posting lots! Enjoy!
You walk up to the West's door with a bottle of champagne in your hand and knock on the door.
"Hey!" Barry, Iris, Caitlin, Cisco, Joe, Wally, Cecile, and Jonie all greet you with a hug. "I brought a bottle of champagne if you don't mind!" Everyone chuckles.
You sit down next to Barry on the couch while you wait for the rest of the food to be set on the table. "So, you watch football? Which team are you rooting for this year?" Barry shakes his head. "I don't watch football!" You gasp. "How dare you!"
"Someone's getting flirty!" Cisco yells across the room throwing his hands up in the air. Caitlin hits his arm. "Really? 'Cause we were just joking around--" "Yeah, like there's nothing going on--" "No, no, you're all misreading--" "Okay, okay," Cisco throws his hands up, once again. "But it did seem a little bit playful, if you know what I mean." He defends, raising his eyebrows.
"Turkey's ready!" Joe calls. You, once again, sit next to Barry. "Okay everyone, it's a tradition so bear with me, " Iris starts. "Before we start eating we always hold hands and say grace." You raise your hand. "I'm not Christian." You claim.
{(Okay, I know this might not be true but bear with me???)}
"It's alright, say it anyway!" Caitlin raps. "Okay." Iris states. Everyone closes their eyes and grasps each other's hands. Barry looks at you with wide eyes when you don't hold his or Cisco's. He takes it up and you Grab Cisco's.
"Dear Lord, thank you for all we have, family friends, food, water......"
"That was beautiful, Iris!" You say as everyone opens their eyes. "Thank you! It's been in the making for a while...." "Alright, everyone! Let's eat!"
