His sister's keeper

I put her head in my lap and wait. When she finally wakes up she starts to panic. “Sh, O. I'm here. It's okay”, I try to calm her. “Summer!”, she yells and pulls me into a hug. “Where are we?” “I don't really know. It's some kind of cave. That grounder brought me here”, I say as she looks at me and tries to get up. Suddenly she winces and falls back to the ground. She hurt her leg. “Let me see that”, I say and start to examine her leg. I hear footsteps and see the grounder coming back to us with a heated knife. Octavia backs away from him but he grabs her and pulls her to him. “Stop! What are you doing?”, I yell when I realize that he's gonna fix her leg. Octavia screams and then passes out from the pain. He looks at me and then at the cut under my eye. He hands me a wet cloth to wipe the blood away. I take it and look at him confused. He leaves again and again I wait for Octavia to wake up. I wipe the dried blood on her face away. Hours seem to pass by before Octavia eventually wakes up again. “Hey sleeping beauty”, I say smiling at her. She looks around and then at her leg. “He fixed it”, she notices and looks at me. “Yeah, he did. But I think we should get back to camp. I think they're already worried. We've been away all night”, I mark and we slowly get up and look around. We walk the small way that I came in but we can't get through it. We walk back to where we were as Octavia starts to pull rocks out of the wall. I help her till we finally can see the light from outside. I help her into that little hole and she starts to crawl through it. I jump and follow her.

- Bellamy's POV -

We've been walking for hours. We walked through the whole night. “We've lost the trail”, I hear Finn say behind me. “We should backtrack.” “NO! Keep looking! I'm not going back! Neither should you. That are our little sisters out there, Finn!” “Walking around aimlessly won't help us to find them!”, he counters but I refuse to walk back. “Hey, where's John?”, Monroe asks and looks around. “I just saw him five seconds ago”, Jasper says. “Spread out. He can't have gone that far”, I order as suddenly a loud thumb is heard. I turn around and see the dead body of John Mbege on the ground. His throat is cut open. The others start to panic. “They use the trees”, Finn marks as everyone looks up. “Can we go back now?”, Roma asks. “Over there!”, some one says and points out at a grounder in the distance. “There's another one”, Jasper says. I look around and see that they surrounded us. “RUN!”, I yell and all of us start running. “What is the plan?”, I hear Finn next to me. “Keep running!”, I yell back. After a few minutes I hear Jasper behind me, “I can't run anymore!” “I'm not stopping for him”, Diggs announces but we all stop. “I'm sick of running away”, I say and look at Jasper and Finn. Suddenly Diggs takes off as does Roma. “DIGGS!”, she yells while she follows him. We start to follow them as we find Diggs. Dead. Impaled by trap of the grounders. We come to a stop. “They know where Octavia and Summer are”, I say to Finn.

- Summer's POV -

We are already running for a couple of time when I hear someone scream in the distance. We stop when suddenly I feel Octavia getting pulled back with force. I turn around and see the grounder covering her mouth so she can't scream. He holds up his finger to his mouth signaling me to remain silent as he gestures me over to him. I do as I was told and he grabs my hand and pulls me down. I look in front of us and see Roma running. I'm about to get up when his grip tightens. I stay put and watch Roma getting speared. I gasp at the sight of that when the grounder lets go of Octavia. If Roma's here then Bellamy and Finn are sure as hell out there as well. The grounder gets up and pulls Octavia and me with him. But why did he save us? He drags us with him back into the direction that we came from. After a few minutes he lets go of our hands trusting us to follow him. But Octavia's leg makes it hard for her to walk any longer. “Wait. We need a break. She can't walk any longer on her leg”, I say pleading and he turns around to us. He makes his way over to her and picks her up bridal style. “Thank you”, Octavia stutters. He seems like a good one. “Hey. If she's out here our brothers are as well. Please, you have to help them. They will kill them”, I beg him. He just looks at me but I can tell I see something in his eyes that tells me he can understand me. We walk back into his cave but this time he chains us up and leaves again.

- Bellamy's POV -

“She wouldn't have come if it wasn't for me”, I mutter and close Roma's eyes. “They lead us here. It was the only direction we could go. They can kill us any time”, Finn says as Jasper starts yelling, “Then they should come over with it. Come on!” “Jasper! Shut up!”, Finn tries to calm him. They surrounded us again. Suddenly a horn is heard in the distance and the grounders take off. “They're leaving”, I say confused. “What does that horn mean?”, Jasper asks. “Acid fog”, Finn marks and starts to pull something out of his backpack. “We should run”, Monroe starts but Finn is faster, “There's no time. Get under the tent, now!” And we all do as we were told. It feels like hours. I should've never let them go alone. I hope they're fine. I can't lose them. I just got them back. “Will this even work?”, Monroe asks with fear in her voice. “We'll find out”, Finn says but I don't want to wait any longer. “No, we won't”, I say and peek out of the tent. There's no fog. “Maybe it was a false alarm”, I suggest. “Guys, they're coming back”, Monroe marks and I see a grounder in the distance. "He's alone", Finn notices. “He didn't see us”, I say. “What are you gonna do? Kill him?”, Finn sneers at me. “No. Follow him. Make him say where our sisters are and then kill him”, I simply say as I start to follow the grounder. Soon we reach the entrance of a cave. We carefully walk in and look around as I see the grounder laying on the ground. Behind him two girls with their hands in chains. My girls.

- Summer's POV -

After Octavia knocked out the grounder she tries to get the chains open but it's not working. Suddenly I hear more footsteps approaching us and I turn around. Since we're on earth I've never been so relieved to see this face. “Bellamy! Finn!” They rush over to us as Bellamy grabs the key and opens the chains on Octavia's hands as Finn does with mine. Finn pulls me into his chest and I hug him back. “You okay?”, he asks as we pull apart. “Yeah, I'm fine.” I get up and throw myself into Bellamy's chest as Octavia throws herself at Jasper. “I thought I'd lost you”, he mutters into my ear. “I'm fine now”, I say as we pull apart and look at each other. “Let's just go.” “Yeah, before he wakes up”, Octavia adds. “He won't”, Bellamy says determined and grabs a spear. “Get out of the way, Finn.” “A fog horn”, Finn says as he's about to touch it. Suddenly the grounder jumps up and stabs Finn into his chest. “NO!”, I scream and drop down next to Finn. Bellamy attacks the grounder but he gets the upper hand and is about to kill Bellamy. “No! STOP! That's my brother!”, Octavia screams. I jump into action and pick up a log and smack the grounders head. Knocking him out again. I help Bellamy stand up and make my way back to Finn who's already passed out. “We need to get him back to camp as fast as possible!”, I cry. Bellamy picks him up and we start to rush back to camp.

When I can see the camp lights I turn to Bellamy. “I go and get Clarke”, I say and start running. Miller seems to have spotted me and orders the others to open the gate. I rush through it and start yelling, “CLARKE! Where's Clarke?!” Suddenly another girl comes running to me. “Raven!”, I yell as she tackles me into a hug. “What are you doing here?” “I came down with a pod.” Eventually Clarke shows up when Bellamy and the others enter the gate. “Clarke, I'm gonna need your help. He got stabbed.” “Finn!”, Raven and Clarke scream and rush over to him. Some guys take Finn out of Bellamy's arms and carry him into the drop ship. “Can you save him?”, Raven asks with fear in her voice. “I need my mom”, Clarke says but Raven shakes her head. “There's still no radio”, she says. “Raven! Get back on that radio! NOW!”, I scream and she takes off.

“I'll go and get some strips of clothes and water”, Clarke says as she leaves me standing there. I turn around when I hear Octavia yelling, “Stop blaming me for your mistakes! I wanted to leave so if Finn dies in there that's on you! Everything is because of you! You got me locked up on the Ark! You wanted me to go to that stupid dance! You got mom killed!” “Me? Mom died for having you! She's dead because you're alive! That was her choice! I didn't have a choice! My life ended the day you were born!”, Bellamy yells back at her. What the hell did he just say? Octavia starts to walk to the gate but Bellamy grabs her arm and pulls her back. “Where do you think you're going?” “You can't lock me up in here forever”, she snaps and yanks her arm away. Bellamy looks at me and turns to the gate. Octavia rushes over to me and throws herself into my arms as she cries into my shoulder. “You know he didn't mean it”, I try to calm her though I know there's nothing I can say to excuse his words. “Let's go into the drop ship. I need to look for Finn”, I say and drag her towards the drop ship.
