Chapter 1.

Pushing through the main doors of Hollywood Arts, all eyes were suddenly on the new girl in school. I gulped under the pressure of everyone stalking me. I've never had this amount of attention on me before so it was all a bit awkward.

"You must be Cat's cousin, Isabella." Said a dark skinned man who looked in his thirties.

"I prefer just Bella." I smiled.

The man gave me an awkward look and then looked over at Cat who was speechless. "Okay......Bella, I'm Lane, the guidance counselor in this school." He introduced himself with a warm smile.

"Nice to meet you." I said and offered the kind gentleman a hand.

"You too Bella." He said as we shared a firm handshake. "I trust that Cat will be your tour guide." Lane said and looked over to Cat.

"Yayyy! I love tours." Cat said, excitedly.

"Yeah you love everything." I rolled my eyes.

"That's not true. I don't like mean people." Cat said, softly.

"And I don't like perky red heads."

Cat simply just let out a shriek.

"Okay. Let me just show you to your locker so I can go... somewhere else." Lane said. He turned around and literally walked like 10 feet away where there were a bunch of lockers. "There it is." Lane added, pointing at my locker.

Cool locker, I thought to myself as I looked at the piano locker next to mine. Very creative. I wonder who this locker belongs too.

"Yayy! Your locker is next to my friend Andre's." Said Cat as if she had just read my mind.

I looked over to my left and noticed that Lane was gone. I guess he walked away while I was busy admiring Andre's locker. I opened my locker and couldn't help but notice Cat bouncing up and down like a crazy person.

"What's wrong with you?"

"I need to pee." She responded and held her private part.

"Then go."

"But you-"

"I'll be fine, Cat. Just go!"

"Thank you." Cat said before running off.

I emptied some stuff from my backpack into my locker and then just stared at it to figure out how I was gonna decorate the inside and outside of it. All the kids in Hollywood Arts have designed their lockers very creatively. So I need to do the same. I don't just want my locker to look good, I want it to stand out.

"Cool hat." Spoke a sweet but manly voice.

I directed my head to where the voice came from and immediately spotted a pretty boy. He was leaning against the lockers with his legs crossed. His eyes were dreamy and his smile was beautiful. But apart from his incredibly good looks, his hair definitely stood out for me.
