The next day, I woke up at three a.m. to the beautiful view of my carpet. I had been tossing and turning all night, dreaming of Romeo and Juliet and their pitiful drama, when I had thrown an arm off of my bed, and the rest of me followed with a large "whomp." I just stayed there, too lazy to get up.

"Oh sweetiepop!" I heard about two hours later. "It's time to get up!"

"Aughtidshfjgo" I muttered in response, smashing my face into my pillow repeatedly. I'm surprised I haven't broken my nose yet.

I rolled to the door, throwing an arm forward to knock it open, just to see Bella bounding down the hall, red lipstick and silver eyeshadow shining in the light.

"Girl!" I mumble-yelled after her. "How do you have that much energy in the morning? And is that makeup?! You're freaking 12!"

She just shot me a smile and skipped down the stairs. I crawled down the hall, following her.

"Coffeeeee" I moaned, probably looking a bit like a zombie. A hot zombie I reminded myself, running a hand through my hair.

As I stumbled down the stairs, one of my legs slid out from under me, and I did a splits on the stairs. "OUCH!" I screeched.

"Whymewhymewhyme"

I had never been a morning person.

The day passed by uneventfully, but I was once again stuck in the dusty old library. This time, however, I was determined to talk to the girl.

As soon as I walked in the door, bells jingling, I saw the librarian glance over at me, and her eyes widened for a second before she groaned aloud. I could have sworn I heard her mumble something about how amazing I was.

I shot her a smile, taking a bow, before I made it to my seat. The same old guy that I had hit with a book the day before was sitting in the same spot. As soon as he saw me, he got up, walking stick waving, and limp-sprinted to the other side of the library.

I saw a flash of white in the same corner as yesterday and jumped back up again, grinning victoriously. Score!

I sprinted over to where I saw her, tripping over the leg of a table, but I used a potted plant to catch myself.

I finally reached the row of books behind her. Man, this was a big library. I huffed, breathing heavily. I was also slightly unfit, though I was the the star quarterback on the school's football team. Everyone loved me.

"Hey baby," I huffed. "I just wanted to say that if you were a triangle, you'd be acute one!" I threw a hand over my stomach, curling over.

She flipped around, gasping lightly.

"If I had to rate you out of 10, I'd give you a nine, because I'm the one you're missing!"

She grinned at me, showing perfectly white teeth. I admired her flowing blond hair and lithe form clothed in the same white dress she was wearing yesterday. I think I'm in love.

"I'm Lukas," I said, staring deep into her deep blue orbs.

"I'm Astrea," she replied.

I jumped. Her voice was deep and gravelly, but in my mind, it was feminine and absolutely perfect.

"You want to go out sometime?" I asked, even though we had only met five seconds ago.

"Yes!" she replied after a short hesitation. Something seemed to catch at the corner of her mouth, almost a twitch.

Ahhh, a smile! I thought.

I flipped my phone out, pausing for a second to look at my beautiful home screen, a selfie that I had taken in Hawaii. I looked perfect in that picture, and I think she knew it.

"Here's my phone," I said, pointing out the obvious, "put your number here."

"Um, is it okay if I just say my number out loud and you type it?"

"Sure," I said, seeing absolutely nothing strange about this at all.

I got her number and shot her a text saying "hey boo." She took out her phone and started giggling. I grinned victoriously, running a hand through my hair.

She then pointed her phone screen at me. My text had autocorrected to "hey moo."

I smirked and she started typing, slim fingers flying across the screen.

My phone dinged. "Hey moo," she had replied.
