mike had called the boys on their walkie talkies and told then to come over, saying he had a huge surprise. mike was so excited to show them that el was going to go with them! will would finally be able to meet him!

the boys knocked on the door, and all ran over to el! they were so excited to see her and have her come with!

"hi eleven! i'm will, even though you probably already know that." he had been waiting for a very long time, two years to be exact.

"hi will!" she exclaimed, she had been waiting to meet him for a very long time as well.

everyone went out at 7 pm, and they of course went to all the rich neighborhoods.

"ok el, we are gonna go to this other neighborhood called loch nora, is that ok?"

she nodded her head calmly, not really knowing why. she just let mike do his thing, he's done it for many years now, so he knows best.

"ok el, remember to say trick or treat when we go to the door!" dustin reminded her. of course she knew this, but she let the boys ramble on about everything about halloween and trick or treating.

they went to one of the biggest houses on the block, and went up the three steep steps in order to get to the door.

will knocked on the door, and every at the same time screamed "trick or treat!"

thy got an assortment of candy, such as 3 musketeers and skittles, and they fought once again about whether the 3 musketeers are good or not.

mike became worried about el. she wasn't talking. he wanted to make sure she was having a good time, and not feeling left out.

"are you having fun, el?" he asked worriedly. a look sadness in his eyes. all he wanted was for her to be happy.

"yeah! totally! i just like spending time with you." el was such a sweetheart, and deep inside, she was nothing like kali and rest of the group.

they finished up the neighborhood, and got loads of candy, mainly because these were the rich people they were receiving candy from. almost half of their pillow cases were full!

will started explaining some of theories he had about star wars. lots of them were crazy, and then everyone was fighting about whether they think they're right or not.

el admitted that it was really cool everyone had powers like her, even though darth vader was bad.

dustin kept correcting her, which made everyone annoyed. it was stuff like, "he doesn't have power, he uses the force," or "he's from the sith. not the bad place."

they went over to mikes neighborhood, and finished up there. you could see the twinkling of orange lights in the trees, and the glow of the pumpkins coming from with-in the cut out eyes and mouths.

nancy stayed home this year to ha d out the candy, so she was able to drive mike and el back over to hopper's house.

el banged the secret knock on the door, and then walked in once he unlocked the door.

"hey mike, you can stay for a bit to say goodbye, but then you gotta go, ok?" hopper had a very stern and serious look on his, look at his hair, down to his feet, then back up again.

"ok. goodbye el! i'll see you later this week!"

mike hugged her as tightly as he could, and she made sure to hug him back.

hopper closed the door, and then the two of them proceeded to dump out her candy on the floor, leaving her dazed.
