Mike's POV
Another day, another day to survive the pain. I groaned as I got up from my bed as I rubbed my eyes. I looked down at my bare arms. Last night I forgot to put on my long sleeve shirt. Then I remembered that my mom came inside my room before I could even cut myself. I groaned even more and I began to get dressed for school.
After I got dressed, I made my way downstairs. Mom was making breakfast for us but I wasn't hungry. Lately, I've lost my appetite so I haven't been having proper meals for the past months.
"Good morning, sweetie" mom said as she was feeding my little sister, Holly. "I made you blueberry pancakes. Your favorite!"
"Ya, thanks mom but I'm going to skip breakfast. I have to leave early for school. I...have to go to Will's house" I said as I opened the door and left without any questions from mom.
I lied.
I wasn't going to Will's house, I was going to the woods to find her. To find Eleven. All of the other times I tried to look for her, nothing was out of the ordinary. I grabbed my bike and went to find her.

Once I got to the woods, I tried looking for a good solid twenty minutes until I went to the quarry. Memories from last year flooded through. The time when she saves me from the bullies. But now, who is going to save me now if she isn't here to save me. Why? Because she's gone. I'm never going to see her. I tried to not loose my hope and believe I will find her. However, what if she is dead? What if she is trapped in the upside down forever? Could've I saved her? What will happen if I just gave up and jumped from the cliff? Would someone find me here?
I tried not to think of that I finally came to realization that I need to go to school.

The bell rings at the exact moment I made to Hawkins Middle School. Talk about luck! I put my bike next to Dustins' at the entrance of the school. I went to my classroom and opened the door to see that the teacher had already begun the lesson."Late again, Mike Wheelers" he said putting his hand against his hip.
"Sorry" I said but not too loud.
"This is the third time you come late this week. Should I can your parents?"
What! My parents would be mad if they found out that I've been late for three times this week. And besides, my mom would figure out that I was up to something since I always leaving early for school.
"N-No, Mr. Clarke. You don't need to c-call my parents. Please" I pleaded. 'Please don't call them' I thought.
He gave me that look that tells the something-is-going-on way. I gulped at the thought of my parents asking me questions: What on earth were you and what were you doing?
"Okay, I'll let you go Michael. Just for this time" he said. I just nodded as he continued his lesson.
I would feel Will starting at me with worried eyes. "Mike" he calls, "you okay?"
I faked smiled at him. "Ya. I'm fine"
I'm fine

Eleven's POVDay 343. I sick and tired of staying here, locked up in a cabin away from society. I need to see Mike. I want to know how he is doing? Is he okay without me? I'm probably not so important to him anyways...
I'm sitting in the couch with the TV turned on, but it was just the grey screen making sounds. I put my blindfold over my head and hope to talk to him. I tried, but I couldn't. Why didn't it work.
I angrily took it off. I tugged my head into my knees, wrapping my tiny arms around my thin legs and cried. These weren't sobs, but loud cries. 'I just want this to be over. Why can't I live a normal life' I thought to myself.
I walked to my room and laid there until the darkness took over me.
This chapter is pretty shitty because I'm writing it at 1am on a school night. What am I doing with my life? Was it good?
I could feel (or make) this story pretty dark real fast but I'm going to make it a happy ending.
