DON'T FOCUS ON YOUR ACCENTS I'M HECKIN'...
Don't bother trying to practice an ~accent~, accents are something that develop naturally. If you can fake a foreign accent but your grammar and syntax construction is faulty, any fluent English speaker will just think you're trying too hard.
In fact, accents that are "adopted" in a sense tend to hinder instead of help your English skills because if it's not an accent that developed naturally, one's tendency will be to over-enunciate the words and they'll sound garbled and difficult to understand.
The two most important things are grammar - for obvious reasons - and tone. Tone includes factors like stress (what specific words are emphasized in a sentence) and emotion (duh) since this highly affects what the message implies. By comparison, accents aren't a big deal.
