I slide the key through the hole and he takes it.
"The keys are just for show".
He smiles, he takes out his sword, Cutie started struggling, he can't break lose, I'm panicking, he swings it and decapitates Cutie, I screamed, and cried. He holds Cutie's severed head by the hair. Hoodie looks at me.
"Thank you..."
I nod at him; I look back and gave an angry look at the guy.
"Jigsaw wannabe!!" I shouted.
"Who says I'm copying him..."
His smile became sinister, he raises the sword again, Hoodie is panicking, he was about to scream! But then... Silence... His head rolls on the floor... I was in shock, and more angry.
"We had a deal!!" I screamed out.
"No... We never did, you see... Sometimes our choice is for the better, and most of the time..." He started to smile, "It's for the worst," he said with such a dark tone.
The lights closed on him, we continue walking down this dark, and red light lit, hallways...
"Who were they exactly?" James asks.
My eyes are filled with tears, "They-they're nice peo-people... Wh-why would s-someone kill th-them," I started to stutter.
Lights opened on our left. And another two was revealed... And this time... It was Lisa, my best friend, and Ivan, James's best friend. We stared at each other; we know what to do... Our eyes filled with tears... As they are there, a couple of meters away from us.
"Lisa! Can you hear me?!" I shout out
"Kirstie?" Lisa slowly regaining consciousness, "Ivan?" She says.
She looked around and sees a ton of metal on top of them, she panics, Ivan wakes up, and he comes out, again.
"Good. You're both awake" he pauses and smiles, "now... Collapse the floor!"
He raises his hands and the floors are starting to break. He backs away slowly, and disappeared into the darkness.
"There are two of you, and two of them, each of you enter one room," his voice says, coming from nowhere.
"How do I know you're not going to back stab us again?" James questioned.
"You don't!" He roared.
He started to laugh. We enter each room and the doors locked behind us.
"There's a timer, You two have to race across this obstacle course, and grab Lisa or Ivan, if one was not able to grab the other, the other one falls, Lisa and Ivan are of the same weight, they stand on each end of the plank, as a block is on the middle, one mistake, and they both die, one perfect move, and they both live, a door is by their side which you two would be going to, they will fall to their doom, and be impaled by hundreds of spikes awaiting them below... It's your speed that is on the line".
"What's the ton of metal for?!" I yelled.
"Well... You'll see."
I know James can run... He's in the Baseball team, Soccer team, and in the Basketball team, and each one involves running, two involves avoiding the opponents, and one of them involves out running people! But besides that, I'm a cheerleader, I was trained to be well coordinated, and be precise, and as my daily exercise, I do cardio, and I do parkour, so we'll see who gets there, I am not going to let my best friend die horribly.
"Ready... Set... Run."
I ran as fast as l can, Windows open and I can see James running fast and dodging obstacles. I can do this. I dodged blades, dodged planks, and dodged spikes.
