He smiles at me, he never told me his opinion about the whole James thing before, and he just sat there eating.
"I like that kid, he's a real man, I've heard so much about him, not just from your school, or you, but even from work, I've been a proud father in the office, the news about you and James as Prom dates spreaded like wild fire!" He enthusiastically said.
Wait... It reached Dad's office? Well at least Dad's happy! And he approves our relationship!
"Now be a good girl," he pats my head.
I leave his Home Office Room and happily skip the hall to my room, Lisa waiting for me, and I pretended to be sad. Lisa just stood there, with a poker face, it's like she's waiting for my smile.
"He approves!" I yelled.
We both cheered in the room, and we ran out of breath a couple of times.
"Now let's get that out of the way, and let's finish our bonding time traditions!" Lisa says.
We're always finishing our Bonding Time with something Internet Related, and we thought about Chat roulette, now for the first few minutes it was boring, it was mostly just a couple of old people in camera, which is sort of weird, and then we entered our interest, which is music. We found a couple of amazing musicians, and a couple of dreadful musicians... But then... We saw him!
The guy from sixth and seventh period! We called him Cutie, he's wearing a black fit-ish polo, he looks at us, but he doesn't seem to recognize us. Hot as usual. He waves at the camera, we waved back. 'Hi', he typed in, 'Want to hear a piano piece I wrote?’ We nodded, he started playing! It was majestic! And when it ended he typed, 'Did you like it?', 'It was beautiful', we replied to him, he smiles in disbelief 'How's your day?', We asked, 'It's been great so far, I have no classes today, it was raining really hard', 'same here! We might live in the same area!' His face went blank, and immediately turned himself off.
"What was that?" I asked.
"Maybe he's too shy," Lisa suggested.
"Well that was that."
Lisa nods at me, we continue on, and we still had fun, but it's really bugging us how the guy just leave the chat just because we might be in the same area. A rumor like this spreaded once in sophomore year. A Guy that lives in our town that looks perfect, like unusual perfect, was in chat roulette and just leaves the chat when he finds out that they might be in the same area. Maybe he's the same guy!
"Remember that rumor in sophomore year about a guy in the internet that is really attractive, and might be in the same town?" I asked.
Her eyes widened, as if she realized something.
"OMG! You're right! He might be that same guy!"
"Girls! Your snacks are here!" Mom yells.
Lisa smiles at me and says.
"That must be the Pizza, Chips, and drinks."
She then left me in the room, I look around, I felt... Unease. It's the weird feeling again... But it feels more specific now... Like eyes are watching me... The temperature is dropping gradually, what the heck?
I shake it off. But it keeps coming back. Whispers started to come in 'Kirstie', 'come to me', 'want to come with me?', 'I won't bite', and so on! It's running inside my head!! What is happening?! I turn to my sides frantically, I'm going insane!! What is this feeling?! I turn to the window, I screamed! There was a man, staring right at me; I couldn't see his face properly, but his eyes... That look in his eyes is dreadful. My heart pounded, my Brain just wants to explode in shock, my body quivered in fear, and I’ve never felt this scared in my life!
Everyone, and I literally mean everyone! rushes in.
"Kirstie! Honey! Are you okay?!" Mom worriedly asked.
"No! There was someone here!" I shout out.
John looked at Jonathan with an odd look. Sammy, holding Diana, had a frightened look over me, Lisa, and Mom leaning towards me, and Dad checking the window, everyone came to a panic! Dad shook his head, the person is gone.
"Honey, are you sure you saw someone?" Mom asks.
"Yes! It can't be mistaken, I have my contacts on!”
"Okay, okay, calm down. Even if there was someone, there isn't now."
I gave them all a terrified look, and they were as terrified as I am! Their faces make me feel more terrified! My scream must've been a fear filled scream! Dad looks at Mom, and Mom just shook her head. Lisa head outside. Mom told them to give me some space. John and Jonathan are outside the door, but still watching me, worriedly. I stare at them. Sammy walked away with Diana, she looked worried, and she felt something as well. The feeling of dread just came over me...
"You sure about what you saw?" Mom asks for the second time.
"Yes mom! I'm sure of it!"
Mom and Dad exchanged very worried looks, I already suspect why... You have no idea what goes on in this town... You'll want to leave it right away if you knew... Trust me... I'm never going to be able to sleep tonight...
