This is a sequel to A Summer in Arizona, so I highly advise reading that one first before starting on City Girl, but I think you will still be able to follow the story if you haven't read the first book. I also want to mention that this book is a work of fiction that centers around Lady Gaga, so I want to point out that not a single event that occurs in this story has happened in real life. It's purely made up by me.
Most of this book takes places in New York and I literally have no idea what it's like to live there and go to a private school and such. So, everything is based on internet research and watching waaayyy too many series (and a lot of imagination as well). Also, English is not my first language, so please read over all of the mistakes ;).
