'Have you heard Joanne sucked Jason's dick?'
'Ewh, she's such a slut.'
'I know right, just like her mother.'
'What did she do?'
'OK! wrote this whole article on her and this super hot actor Ethan James. He's like twenty years younger than her.'
'That's so gross!'
Joanne opened the door to the girl's dressing room. She was wearing her field hockey outfit and dropped her stick. 'What'd you say about my mother?'
The girls turned red immediately.
'Oh, nothing,' the blonde one, named Alicia, said. 'I was just telling Eve about this article I read in OK! Apparently, it runs in the family.'
'What the fuck are you talking about?'
Alicia put her hand on her hip. 'Being a slut.'
Joanne's hands turned into fists and anger build up inside of her. Normally she'd just ignore her bitchy female classmates but she'd been on edge the past couple of days and she was just so fed up with that girl. She walked over to her and slapped her hard in the face. Alicia's jaw dropped to the floor and she put her hand on her red cheek. 'How dare you, you bitch!'
'Don't you dare say something about my mother. I know you hate me and I'm perfectly fine with you ditching me, but don't say a fucking word about someone you know nothing about.'
'Well, it's true. Your mom is desperately in need of some disco stick and her boo Ethan was eager to give it to her.'
'That's enough!' Joanne pushed her to the floor and pulled on her blonde ponytail.
'Fuck off you whore.'
'I'm not a whore!'
'You don't belong here! Why don't you take your fat ass back to that shithole your father's from?'
Joanne bit her lip untill she tasted blood and hit the girl in her face again. Exactly at that moment, their PE-teacher walked into the dressing room. He immediately intervened and separated the fighting girls from each other.
'Girls, this is unacceptable. I'm taking you to the principal's office.'
'No,' Joanne sighed. It had been the second time this month. She was so close to getting expelled and she knew the little brat knew just perfectly how to talk her way out of all of it. Her father wasn't one of New York's best lawyer for nothing.
They walked through the hallway in their sporty outfits. The girls looked at them. One of them was Rose, standing by her locker. Joanne knew exactly what she was thinking that moment. What had she done now? Mom's not going to like this. She despised her for being a slut, too. Joanne hated her life. She was so done with everything. This school, her parents and just herself.
The principal's office was at the end of the hallway. Mrs. Savino looked up when the girls walked in. Joanne avoided her eyes for as long as possible. She straightened her skirt as she sat down and tried to level down her anger.
'What happened between you two?'
'She hit me in the face!' Alicia screamed before Joanne could even speak while pointing at her.
'Could you tell me why, miss Sterner?'
'Because I was talking about her mother. She said I wasn't allowed to talk about her and just hit me out of nowhere. This is unacceptable, Mrs. Savino. I'm going to tell my dad. I thought this school was supposed to be a safe place.'
