The dizziness never left during the trip. Kelly was worried about me the whole entire way, after I explained my dilemma. But she didn't understand the way I did. And got me pretty pissed after saying things like, "maybe it's all for good, maybe the moon goddess will make you two like each other" and other ideas which made me mad. I didn't want to accept him. I wanted Alex.
Ever since our sort of date, all I can think about, is him. His smile, his laugh, his wolf.
I sighed dreamily, thinking of him was wonderful. The power that radiates off of him is probably what I love the most about him, now that I think about it. I mean it is similar to my own mate but he doesn't have that constant need for me to be there. He agrees with what I like, and does to argue with my opinion.
"Uh hello?" A hand waves in front of. My face, breaking my daydreaming sensation. "What!" I asked, sick of her voice and endless 'comforting' words. "Hey you just zoned out big time!" She said. "Anything new?" I asked. "Well I mean you always day dream in classes but this time you were smiling, Astra. S.M.I.L.I.N.G!" She said. "Ugh leave me alone! I groaned.
"You were thinking about him weren't you?" She asked with a small giggle of satisfaction. "Yeah" I smiled. "Wait, YOU WERE?" She gasped. "Yup, Alex is so dreamy and nice... and respectful" I said. "WHAT? Your into Alex? Well. I'm glad Alex is smart enough to know he should wait for his mate instead of going right to you-" I cut her off from her nonstop raving, "We went on a date a few days ago" I said. "And it was him who begged me to go" I said with a happy smile.
"I don't like that smile Astra... I mean I do! It's just that... it kinda hurts me that my brother is a jerk to me AND you... and that you guys don't get along and all, but! But I'm happy that you are happy Astra... because I don't think you have smiled this genuinely before" she smiled. I smiled back.
As the bus pulled to a halt, I took a deep breath. I would be strong. I know I have power, so, so much power and I know that I can turn that into will power. Because I know I WILL enjoy myself and I WILL have a good time and I WILL not give into my mate and I WILL start giving Alex a chance and I WILL Succeed in ALL of this!
After settling into cabins, (thankfully not tents) I was very surprised at how peaceful this small packs village was, that we were at. And the buildings look like they were built centuries ago, yet they all were clean and intact. I shared a room with Kelly thankfully, and Olivia and Ash were a few cabins down from us. Thankfully, because I don't think I could have a sort of holiday with Olivia. I just simply couldn't last, with that crazy beast!
The cabins cave off a clean rustic cottage type of look on the outside but seems to have been done into a modern clean type of cabin on the inside, still with shiny wooden floors and white surprisingly there were white brick walls on the inside too. I mean I knew that this whole trip was to learn of the historical facts of the werewolf, yet I didn't expect all of this!
Once we all got our stuff unloaded from the busses and moved into our cabins, we spent the morning and a little bit of the afternoon packing our stuff. There was six of us in the cabin. 3 small but pleasant and carefully decorated rooms with two people in each room, and a small kitchen that on had a bench, oven, mini fridge and a cabinet. Once we were truly settled and happy, one girl, Shay, reported to all of us that everyone was heading to swim in the nearby river, and mentioned Girls And Guys were going at the same time.
Almost instantly all of the girls, along with Kelly, rushed into their bikinis and rushed outside, but me. I could already imagine my own mate out there, flirting with girls, splashing them with water, happy to be away from alpha duties to hang out with a bunch of bi*ches, I mean he has kissed a girl, so who knows how many are already making out with him n" I cut off from Shay, "Oh and if you were wondering, Adrian isn't going to be there, mated wolves aren't allowed to be out there at this time because the lust of having each other might make others feel uncomfortable and he himself has been under strict orders to stay away from you when swimming since he's an alpha too, and lust plus alpha doesn't go very well in your case" she chuckled.
