Nathan's POV

I watched as my werewolf friends hauled the unconscious fox form into the truck. I hated myself for being harsh on the kid, but I had no other option.

He's strong for his age, and he's probably had a messed up life. Once I entered into my seat in the truck, I wiped blood from my nose. The kid did give me a good damned punch, his stocky figure tells me he doesn't live alone although he is hostile.

Once we arrived back at the pack house, I knew instantly that something was wrong. I could smell the off scent of blood, and a lot of it. We all ran inside and to our horror, there were corpses covering the ground, some from our pack, some not. The corpses were a day old by the looks of it and they reeked of rotten flesh.

Realisation hit me like a truck. I had taken about a quarter of the packs men with me to hunt down the werefoxes hideout, and I believe that about another quarter, had left with Astra and Jet to go to talk about mate problems at a different pack, equaling with half of our small packs warriors and an alpha.

I entered the alphas office and to add onto my horror, the alpha was not alive, along with everyone else. I almost gagged at what I was seeing. A note was left on the desk,

Dear reader, I have successfully demolished your poor excuse of a rogue pack. Don't bother trying to rebuild it because we will destroy you again. Your alpha is dead. You will be too. We have not forgotten what Astra did to our alpha so we have repaid the debt, but don't expect us to leave you alone forever.

I scrunched the paper into a small ball and threw it onto the ground. I was going to send notice of these events to Jet, before I was going to hunt down the remains of the pack that Astra had believed to have destroyed.

I just didn't know what to do at this point. All I feel is anger towards Astra, Jet, and all other foxes. We should have done better? Or we should have done more.

I walked into the living room, the only room that hadn't a stain of blood. No one really used the living room much because almost conversations would be held on the private office. Everyone always worked so hard to keep our rogue pack to live on, to thrive.

"Hello, Nathan."

I whisked around at the sound of an unusual voice. "Who are you?" I asked the human. "Well wouldn't you know? Of course after everything I don't expect you to... notice me any time soon."

I growled at this humans presence, "get the hell out" I growled. "But my cousin, we have business to discuss" the man said with a smirk. "I have no family" I said, very irritable and angry now.

"You look so much like your brother" he said,

And from those last words, I couldn't contain myself, and I lunged onto the human. He pulled a shiny object from his pocket and then all I saw was light.

A very bright light.

*•*Astras POV*•*

A loud crash came from behind me, I turned around in a defensive stance and blinked in confusion to see Jet throwing a tantrum on a window... or shattered glass that was a window but not anymore.

"I'm not paying for that" I scoffed. The look he gave me instantly made my mouth shut tight. "My pack" He gritted out, "has been attacked. Only half of it remains, the alpha is dead."

I was wordless. I barely knew his pack very well and I just didn't know how to react. When Jet realised I had nothing to say, he thundered outside. I ran after him, but I took my time. Once I got outside, Jet was inside a car and then Adrian ran out of the house in alarm.

"I have to go, major pack problems" I said to him before forcing myself to walk towards the car. He growled behind me and then grabbed my arm, "THIS is your pack and you will stay!" His wolf said to me.

A tear leaked from my right eye. Then suddenly everything went... green. It all happened to fast that I could barely comprehend what was going on. I heard Jet scream but his voice faded as fast as I heard him and then I suddenly felt nothing.

I could not move, I could not see.

I feel stuck in a void.

"Astra, your time has come to see the truth, the lies and the end."

This was an extremely short chapter because I do not know if I should continue writing this story, I have not given up on it yet but I can't find time for it anymore. It was not planned out properly when I started and I plan to write book 2 of this series (Forgotten by her past, only slightly related to this book and is its own book) with more order and planning but I will not be publishing many chapters time soon, unless I get enough requests for more chapters,

(My most important requests of you guys is if you can check out the first chapter of
