Chapter Seven
Jill
Blue
"Jill?" Blue's mind was flying. "Jill Howard?"
"Yes, how do you know me?" Jill got excited. Maybe her face and name were out in the news and this lady heard of her disappearance.
"We've been looking for you. Your Uncle Matt is out there right now wondering where you are." And probably me she thought.
"Uncle Matty is looking for me? I knew he would be. Does he know where we are? Is he coming?" She was so excited that Blue almost didn't have the heart to tell her the truth. That no one knew where they were.
"Jill, do you know the person who took us?" Blue quizzed her.
"It was Mike, a counselor from Camp for Christ. I saw him at Fiesta and he said he wanted to talk to me. So I just walked around the corner from the bathroom and he put a gun into my back and told me if I screamed, he would shoot me then go kill my parents. He was always so nice at camp. He acted like he cared about us." Jill was crying now.
"Jill, what has he done to you?" Blue was afraid to ask.
Jill sat on the floor next to the lamp. The glow illuminated her young face and the tears flowed with no hope of stopping. Her hair looked unkempt and greasy. Jill put her hands over her face and started to bawl harder.
Blue tried to drag her body over to the girl, but it was only with some extreme effort that she could do so. "Hey, I'm here now. We're going to get out of here, okay, do you believe me?"
"No, he's never going to let us go." She cried even harder.
What has Ramirez done to this girl? If he's the one that took Jill, then is responsible for Harlee Greene and Chief's daughter Amelia? Twelve years ago, that would have made Ramirez around thirty two or thirty three? If all these girls knew him from camp, it would have been easy to persuade them to go with him. Under working for God, he created a cover that made him look saintly. Blue felt disgusted. Why kill the girls? Not just kill but mutilated. How could he do that to anyone much less the Chief's daughter. Did he violate all of them because she was pretty sure he did Jill from her reaction. How could she not see how sick he was?
Suddenly the door opened and light shone in. "I need you to come with me Blue." Ramirez told her.
Blue stayed where she was at until Ramirez walked in and told her, "I need you to come with me or Jill here will have to take your place. You'd like that wouldn't you Jill honey?"
"Stop, I'll go, leave her alone." It took great effort to stand up but Blue did and followed Ramirez out of the room.
He led her into a bathroom that had an old victorian bath tub sitting in the middle. "This is how it's going to be now Blue. When I tell you to take a bath, you will come in here and take a bath. Wash good. I have bought make-up and there is reflective metal you can use for a mirror. I will come back for you in twenty minutes. Don't try anything or Jill will take the reprecussions for your actions. Do you hear me?"
"Diego, let's talk about this. Just let me know what you want?" Her voice was shallow.
"I'm showing you what I want. So do it. Now." He turned and walked away. He locked the door behind and said, "Your twenty minutes start now. Don't make me hurt Jill."
Blue ran a hot bath and climbed in. She had blood all in her hair so she dunked herself completely under the water. Her ribs and face was killing her. She thought about Matt and the baby. He was never going to know she was pregnant. That she already decided to keep the baby. That she wanted to be a mom.
