one more chance

"Shawn I can't do this anymore" I said out of nowhere. "What?" He said confused and stood up. "I can't do this, I can't do us" I whispered.

"I don't understand" he said and tried to come closer to me but I didn't let him. "You do understand" I said and tried to hide my tears. "No I don't. Why would you think that?" He said crying as well.

It hurts me to see him like this but I just can't take all this pain anymore. "You deserve someone better" I mumbled. "There isn't even someone better than you" he said and still tried to come closer.

"Shawn listen,you're always on tour and when you come back you're stressed out about your music. I can't do this. I can't take this pain anymore" I said crying. "I'll work on it. I'll try to spend more time with you I promise y/n" he said but I shook my head.

"No Shawn you deserve someone who can do this but I can't" I said and started to pack my suitcase. "Y/n please don't do this to me. Please don't leave me" he begged but I have to.

"Shawn don't make this harder than it already is" I cried. "I'll do everything for you to stay with me" he said and grabbed my suitcase.

"Shawn please" I said and hoped he would just give me my suitcase and let me go. "No y/n. I'm not going to lose you. Not before I tried everything to keep you" he said with his red puffy eyes.

"I love you y/n and I couldn't take it to lose you" he whispered weakly and sank down to the ground. "Shawn" I whispered as well and walked to him.

"We both now this can't work" I said. "It can. If we both want it to work" he said and made a little break. "Do you want it to work?" He asked hopefully.

"I do. I want this to work Shawn but it doesn't" I whispered the last part and slide down the wall. We both sat on the ground crying our souls out. It would hurt to stay but it would kill me to leave.

"Shawn?" I whispered after some minutes of silence. He lifted his head up. "I'll stay" I said. I saw his eyes lit up and he immediately stood up. He came to me and hugged me tighly. "Thank you y/n" he whispered into my ear.

"We can try to make this work but if it doesn't I need to go" I said and hoped everything will change. I really hope we can make this work.

"We will make this work" he said and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"I hope so" I whispered so he couldn't understand it. His arms were still around my weak body and my head laid on his chest.

"I love you y/n" Shawn said after some minutes of silence. I smiled into his chest and lifted my head up so I could look in his eyes.

"I love you too Shawn" I said. "Would you like to join my tour?" He said out of nothing. "What?" I asked confused. "Would you like to go on tour with me?" He repeated.

"Yes yes omg yes Shawn yes" I said excited. "I will never ever let you alone again" he said and we sat down on the bed. "This will be a great time" he added. "It will be" I said and intertwined our hands.

"Thank you y/n. Thank you for making me happy, thank you for going on tour with me and thank you for staying with me. I'm sorry I was so stupid and let you here alone when you needed me the most, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. I'm so so so sorry. I hope you can forgive me" he said and I nodded.

"Ofc Shawn. I'm sorry I overreacted" I said and pressed my lips on his before he could say something.

"I couldn't live without you"
