All alone. It's been a while since I told you my story. I'm roughly thirteen by now.
In the darkness all alone. An Alleyway riddled with darkness so practically nothing is visible. Only a little light can shine through. I'm all alone in this alleyway. Seeing a pool of water, I️ look at my reflection. I see my eyes have heavy eye bags, it made it look like I had been beaten repeatedly. My eyes themselves made me look like I had gone mad, which I had, long ago. My ginger locks which had once been neat were now all over the place, making me look like a crazed bird.
I hear scurrying across the floor, snapping my head from where the noise had come from. I see a family of rats running in this dark, wretched place."Oh, why hello there friends."
I began to play my flute, I command them to dance, hoping it would cheer me up. But my mind knew what I truly wanted, it knew what I wanted them to do.
"Kill each other," I commanded.
I watched the mother rip and tear her own children apart. Yes, this is what I needed to see, bloodlust. Oh how easily I could command the rats to my will. To force a parent, a sworn protector, kill its child. I looked down upon the rat that survived, and stepped on it. Vermin that's all it was. A minuscule life form beneath me, not deserving to live. I had such power.
Oh, the power I had. I learned a lesson that I wish others to learn, power corrupts, it is not something one should crave or want, it is something one should fear and run from.
I was ready to watch more blood fall upon the land. I was ready to strike.A/N
In no way do I believe these things I was just really tired and trying to emphasize how crazy and how cruel the Pied Piper truly is.
