What the hell?!

Why is she ignoring me?!

I stomp my way out the school doors and run home. Forget school.

Forget Lily.

You're so damn stubborn my inner voice said to me.

Shut up!

I'm not the one mad his lover he answered. I look up and see I'm in front of my house.

"UGH!" I yell out. I look down for a moment, suddenly the door swung open and my dad popped out. He looked at me confused.

"Aren't you suppose to be at school?" He asked. I stomp up the stairs and look at him, glaring.

"Forget school! LilyJane's ignoring me for no reason!" I yelled to my father. He leaned on the door frame getting comfortable, looking at me raising one of his eyebrows at me.

"Are you even sure it's for 'no' reason?" He asked using air quotes on 'no'

"What do you know?" I asked my voice full of anger. He raise one eyebrow at me suspiciously. He took his time answering, choosing his words wisely I could say.

"Boy, you remember when you always bullied before? Especially that one kid, I think his name was Jackson, am I right?" He asked so suddenly. Now it was my turn to raise my eyebrow.

What does this have to do with anything?

"Yeah?" I answer hesitant. He nods attentively at me before looking at me serious.

"What did you have against him that you just had to beat him up so awfully?" He asked emphasizing 'had'. I thought back at the time, it was fresh in clear in my head.

"He had it all, everything. I had nothing and felt worthless. But one thing he was, was vulnerable, sensitive, more than usual for him. So I took advantage of that, and still do" I answer very so simply and casually. I looked at my father and he simply nodded again.

"But why still, boy?" He asked back. He looked at me in the eyes for a trace of any emotion but I showed nothing. I looked down for a while before looking up at him.

"Once vulnerable, always vulnerable and with that comes power over them, for everything you want." I answered smiling at him evilly.

"And power is so important to you because....?" He trailed off unaffected by my smile, "How about Lily? What do you think she'd say if she knew about this?" he finished.

"Why does she matter? She's always been just another girl" I said to him and I swear when I said that I felt a heart breaking literally.

That's why you never do these things to a lover my friend Mr. inner voice said. I look up at my father and he smiled at me, like he knew something.

"You feel that?" He asked his smirk forming from his lips.

"Feel what?" I asked clueless. He didn't need to know.

"That heart breaking feeling" He boldly said. I frowned at him giving him the how-did-you-know? face which I didn't even know I was capable of until now.

"You only get that feeling with one woman boy, and that woman is the love of your life, which is Lily if you haven't realized, no matter how cheesy that sounds in the end-he points to himself- I'm right -he points to me- and you're wrong" He smiled.

"I don't love her okay?!" I yelled annoyed.

"She's been ignoring me! Why would I take that?! I deserve respect, not what she gives me!" I yell at him. My father's face hardens quickly over my words.
