Ch.29 Insane

Nighteary's POV

I'm astonished what I see in front of me... It's Justin... I see his wolf figure standing proud and tall like he had never even died. I feel my heart ache for him. As I step closer he turns and runs. I chase after him, eyes wide and frantic. I openly mind link him.

'Justin come back! Justin it's me! Please stop!' he disappears from my sight and I can't smell his scent.

I get mind linked by the Ronnie, but I don't really pay attention. I'm still running my paws kicking up dirt as I get faster and faster needing to see Justin again.

'Nighteary what are you doing?! Come back!'

I suddenly see him standing, human form, in front of me. I quickly stop and shift, using a spell so when I shift I have clothes on.

I quickly run towards him but he holds his hand out and I stop. confused and baffled.

"Don't you want me?" I ask. Why would he stop me? wouldn't he want to embrace me in a hug?

"You? Why would I want someone who went off with another man and had another child?" He says harshly. I can feel my heart collapse, tears brimming in my eyes.

"J-J-Justin... You were dead, please Justin you mu-" Tears of hurt start to stream down my cheeks.

"Who wants a freak like you anyways? I never loved you." He says smirking. my knees give in and fall to the ground shaking, holding my ears, and closing my eyes tight.

"NO! NO! THATS NOT TRUE!" I scream while sobbing.

"Your nothing to me, nothing at all. Your an embarrassment to this world. Why don't you go back where you came from already. You don't belong." I hear his voice next to my ear.

I look up to see his face only a few inches from mine. but this time his eyes aren't wild and filled with hate. They're filled with love and compassion. It's like my heart immediately forgives him for his harsh words.

"You don't mean those things, you would never say those things.." I say trying to stop the tears.

"Shh... Shhh... Of course I mean those things. Baby have I ever lied?" Those eyes killing me. My own mate putting me down makes my insides churn.

"Please just tell me they aren't true! I've missed you so much! I can't help that I found a second mate! You died! I was there... I remember it just like it was yesterday..." My mind flips with every emotion thinkable. I feel as if I'm going to explode. Everything feels so fast, sudden and real.

"Not only that you had a child with this 'Harry'. Are you going to kill her like Robert? My only son taken by the monster, yourself."

I sob harder than ever it feels like.

"I love you... I really do... God I love you..."

I hear Ronnie suddenly run up behind me. "Nighteary! What are you doing? Who are you speaking to? We had a job to do!"

I look over to him then back over to expect to see Justin. But he's gone. My mate is gone again...

I get up quickly filled with anger.

"Look what you've done! Now he's gone! Because of you my mate is gone! It all because of you!!!" My whole body is numb with anger. my thoughts clustered. I can't think straight. I lunge for him pinning him to the ground. I start to choke him. He pushes me off of him but I start to punch and knee his groin and stomach. Doesn't take long for the others to come and get in it. they rip me off of him but not without a fight. I bite one of them my fangs creating a deep gash in there arm. I'm too focused on Ronnie to see who's grabbing me. They finally rip us apart and I struggle to get free from them.
